Regarding the fatal shooting on 394 yesterday:
"This is a semi-busy road ... how many other people were on the road [when it happened]?" she said. "It shouldn't be happening over here. I mean, hello -- we're by Minnetonka."
First of all. Semi busy? 394 = busy.
I totally picture a girl flipping her hair and smacking bubble gum for some reason. :-)
All funny business aside, sad day for the woman who was shot, no matter what the circumstances. :-(

A sad day for the woman & the officer(s) involved. That had to be his/her's worst day on the job & something they never want to do in their career.

I also thought the same thing, and the 'tone' I took from it gave me a pit in my stomach too. Just because it's Minnetonka things like this shouldn't happen there? I guess I can't really explain it.
I'm looking forward to hearing more details about the traffic stop, why the woman was armed, why she was shot etc.
On a related note, I'm glad I left work at 3:30 to pick Samuel up by 5 since I barely made it! I thought I was being smart by taking Louisiana to Minnetonka Blvd., until I realized there was construction on both roads and everyone else had the same idea. But I treated myself to some Thanh Do eggrolls on my way home:)
