I have a coworker/friend who is pregnant. She didn't ever expect to get pg. She and her DH were starting the adoption process and ta da!
She is going to announce it at work in a week or so. I work in an elementary school. Any great ideas for how to announce a pregnancy? We've thought of putting something in the staff lounge (food wise).
TIA
Re: How to announce...
That is super excited for your co-worker!
A few of my coworkers were pregnant and they've done it a couple ways. Once we had a potluck and there is always a company wide email. She responded, I'm so excited and make sure to bring a lot since i'm eating for 2 now! The owners got a cake for 2 others that said congrats with a stork.. we all were like, TOGETHER? (jokingly, we knew they were married)but they were having babies with their husband/wife lol!
very cute, and yay for her!
like pp's have said..food is always awesome. i might be partial, but i love the way i announced to my friends.....at my birthday party, i got a standard cake, and then on it wrote "we're having a baby! and happy birthday jenn!"
