When it rains it pours...
So an update on the house stuff. I talked to my realtor last night and the sellers are panicking and considering backing out of the sale. She was calling them to explain the situatio about our mortgage company really screwing us with shady business practices, and that we are working with a new company to hopefully get stuff done. I should be hearing back from her in a few minutes to see what they had to say...
This morning I took DH's car to work because we need to get some parts fixed and I have to bring it to our car guy after work. DH is going to be late because he has some training stuff to do tonight. DH took my car, which is really my mom's car which she is selling to us but we haven't switched over the title and everything.
On 17 in North Jersey, a guy did the Jersey slide into the fast lane and cut off the mini van in front of DH. She slammed on her brakes, and DH slammed on his to no avail. He ended up rear ending the woman and damaging her car and my moms. It was the height of morning rush hour so there really was no where for him to go but straight into her.
He is fine, the radiator is broken on our car, but her car was pretty banged up. Car accidents suck, car accidents when it isn't your car suck even more.
Just one thing after the next, hoping I will catch a break sometime soon!

I hope your new mortgage company can find a solution for you guys! I know how excited you were and how horrible a let down it was to be close to losing the house. Keep us posted!
That totally sucks about the accident! I'm glad your DH is ok, which is the most important thing. Stupid drivers! I hate the ones that cut you off esp bc they don't signal until they're moving, if at all. I hope your car can be fixed soon without too many repairs! Hang in there honey!

The accident totally sucks!! Some drivers are so concerned about getting from Point A to Point B without taking into consideration other drivers on the road! I'm glad YH is doing okay.
