Rant: the thing that I needed good vibes for is not happening, but I appreciate all of your good vibes.
Rave: I had a great time at HH last night with an old friend. I wish I got to see this friend more, but with our schedules we're lucky to get together once a month. I heart her lots.
Random: I'm on the hunt for fleece lined tights. I don't know what sparked this, but all of a sudden I neeeeeed fleece lined tights.
Rant: the dinner I tried to make yesterday didn't turn out very well - I mean, H ate it and said he thought it was fine, but it wasn't what I was going for and now the thought of it makes me nauseous. I'm going to be a very bad pg person because I already have certain foods that, after I eat them, I don't want to look/smell/think about.
Rave: today is H's last day at this stressful rotation and so it will be a little easier for the rest of the year. He also got REALLY good feedback and I'm really happy and proud of him.
Random: I totally had a sex dream about H last night, lol

Rave: This work week is almost over and NYC is next week! SQUEE!!!
Random: I got cable last night and I plan to sit on my butt all weekend and watch it...
Rant - why is it so dam hard to find another job?
Rave - DH and I are finally trying Tilth tomorrow night for dinner and we have tickets to see Michael Ian Black at Neptune Theatre.
Random - I totally side-eyed the mom that was letting her toddler eat a giant bag of candy in her stroller at 8:15 am.
Rant - So fed up with my joke of a position. This week has been so frustrating and admittedly, I've been sleeping horridly AGAIN so the constant not feeling rested makes it even harder to deal with the stupidities around me. I JUST can't get over the feelings that I can't find a job I'd enjoy elsewhere so better the crap I know (with some coworkers I do love) then the unknown?
Rave - Last weekend of moving stuffs! AND...I had completely forgotten until this morning that we get to go to Teatro Zinzanni next week on DH's company's dime!
Random - my friend posted on FB that her son woke up crying last night and when she asked what happened, he cried, "The cookies were too high!!" LOL!! (Even funnier when the only cookies he gets at his tender toddler age are graham crackers.)
Rant: (Kinda long... sorry!) Ticket prices have been pretty cheap lately, so 2 weeks ago, I offered to pay for my mom to fly out for a visit. At first she was pretty excited about it, but she didn't call me at all over that weekend (she hates the phone and only calls on her 20 min ride from work, can't say I blame her because I'm the same way). When I finally called her to see what was up, she said she hadn't had a chance to mention it at work (it's a very small office and they're super lenient about everything, so it's not like she was worried they'd say no). Then when she called and we finally got to talk about when she'd come (at the beginning of this week), she said not to buy the tickets until she's sure my dad would get her to the airport on time (he's always late - to everything, that's just how he is, but it's not like she doesn't have other people who would be happy to take her). He was in the same room with her, so I don't understand why she didn't just ask then. This was Monday. She said she'd call back Wednesday. Still haven't heard from her. Gah, I just want my mom to come visit, and she seemed pretty excited. I don't know what the hold up is, and now the prices are going back up and the times/dates we were looking at are sold out and we'll have to discuss more options, which probably means more dragging out. *deep breath* /Rant.
Rave: It's clear! And sunny! And actually pretty warm! Out for the day with the puppy I go!!
Random: Yesterday was our puppy's 1st birthday, according to his paperwork. So, excited/obsessive me went out and got him tons of special treats and a new toy - orange, lime and purple plushy jack with squeakers in all ends! I think I had more fun than he did.
Rant: My hair, which was perfectly straight when I left home this morning, is now a frizz ball due to the muggy weather. And of course, I do not have a single hair tie with me at work.
Rave: In 22 hours I'm going to be eating breakfast and drinking mimosas, and going to follow that with tailgating, then Husky Football
Random: Rum Ham and The Waitress on ecstasy... hehe. (From Always Sunny)

Rave: Today is Friday and the last day this week that I am babysitting. (It's more exhausting than I figured.)
Random: Tman is getting a belt promotion in karate tomorrow. Way to go kiddo!
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
