Hi ladies, I'm going to XP this into crafts b/c I'm on a budget of pretty much 0 but this problem must be solved!
We live in a rural area so our garbage and recycling are all DIY- take to the "dump"/recycle center. We make relatively little waste and a little more recycling so we rarely fill a garbage bag in a month (you have to purchase theirs or buy bags and pay the same price to take it there). Because we go less than once a month, all of these things are in our garage, currently "organzied" by my dear husband in garbage bags.
I'm hoping to fabricate hooks, baskets or something to hold the garbage bag and then something that can go from garage to car (without leaking) and to the dump and recycle center. For this reason, I know that mesh or heavy canvas isn't ideal, but I don't want to/ can't afford to go out and essentially buy 2-3 recycle bins & a garbage bin. Any thoughts or creative solutions are appreciated, as well as sales tips b/c really, I've stopped taking things out to the garage and the kitchen suffers. TIA!

Re: Garage storage- garbage, cans/bottles & recycle
I really can't think of anything you can do besides buying bins. You can get a 32 gallon trash can at Lowes for $15.
We have recycling pickup every 2 weeks, where I put out a 32 gallon trash can, a 44 gallon trash can, and one small township recycle bin (about the size of a large kitchen trash can) full of recycling (it's single stream so nothing is sorted).
We dont have trash pickup, I bring it to work and put it in the dumpster here. I repurpose plastic grocery bags for our trash, and we have our trash can outside lined w/lawn waste bags. It takes about a month and a half to fill one.
Oops, just realized I double pasted the XP. Sorry ladies!
