so close!

my dh and i are very close to closing on our first house. the realtor says closing will be towards the end of october. now, i am one of those people who have to have christmas shopping done like on black friday. did i mention that we live with my in-laws? and have a dd who will be 1 on nov. 15th. i feel soooo disorganized and dh doesnt want me doing any x-mas shopping until after the move. plus i have a big 1st birthday to plan! why cant he just me do what i want? why does everything have to be his way? sorry, just venting. thanks for listening.

Re: so close!

  • Not to be the culprit here but I think your focus should be on closing and then moving, Christmas shopping can wait. If the house is not ready then see if your in-laws can host your daughter's 1st birthday. I've never moved before, hopefully 10/15 will be our date, but from what I hear it's a very overwhelming process especially with a little one. What I would do is sit down and make a priority list. #1 Closing #2 Moving #3 Daughter's 1st Birthday party etc. Good Luck!
