Good Morning Ladies!
I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and have a doctor's appt on Friday. We get to see the little angel again at 8:30am for an u/s. Anyone know what is normally done on 2nd appointments? heheh Im clueless besides the part where we're scanning for down syndrome.
Morning Sickness subsided a bit, I did jinx myself lastnight because I told DH I have not thrown up for 4 days straight and sure enough lastnight I threw up hhhhmmmp!
Still have food aversion, I'm hoping my appetite will come back slowly now that I'm nearing the end of first trimester.
I hope everyone is having a great Monday morning : )

nothing really new to report... my baby shower is on saturday so hopefully i will finally feel a little more prepared after that haha
no purchases, no nursery progress as of yet
baby seems like it wants to come out its stretching around so much in there!
and funny thing is lately ive been getting "your due next month? your so small!" comments now as opposed to the holy cow you are getting huge comments i had the last couple weeks?? people are weird... why cant they just say something like "yay you look great!" lol
I didn't get a single "Are you having twins?" Ever. I think I carried toward my back. Even my Aunt was saying how huge I never got. I felt huge, though. Enjoy the last little bit!
It is good that you have each other there for support. Good luck with the Ortho appts. and everything. She is so lucky to have two parents that love and worry about her so much!
Roses- I am praying for you and your little girl. She is going to be beautiful no matter what.
T is doing wonderful! He is getting so big so fast. I can't believe he is 6 weeks old today, and I got back to work tomorrow. I am so not ready. I wish I could be a SAHM. He has been clingy today which makes going back that much harder. Good thing it is only for 5 hours.

I will be 13 weeks tomorrow, hooray! We had our 12-week u/s last Friday and everything looked great...I was so relieved. H was cute b/c he expected it to just look like a blob like it did at 6 weeks, so when he saw it actually looking like a baby, he got so excited! Obviously as many of you know we made it "Facebook official" after our u/s on Friday, too. Now our next big thing to look forward to is finding out the gender! It seems like forever away.

This cracks me up! I got asked that every.single.freakin.day. by the 3rd trimester. I even got quadtruplets one day.
I had a dream last night that I put Zoe down on the ground and she took off crawling super fast. Ha ha! Maybe it's a sign of things to come!
She had her first big head bang yesterday. First of many, I am sure. I felt so bad for her! She was sitting up in her crib and toplled over and hit just right in the corner. It looked really bad at first, but it actually started to look better. Me being the nurse I am, was checking her pupils with my pen light. :P She was back to her normal self within a few mintues so we just kept a close eye on her and she was fine. Poor baby! She has been doing so well with sitting up. She harldy falls over anymore.
I really can't believe the sudden explosion of developmetal growth she has had in the past 2 weeks. She is saying so many different sounds all of a susdden, is playing with her toys sitting up most of the time, has figured out how some of her toys work all of a sudden....it's crazy! She does not like being on her back and hates the changing table! It's a struggle to change diapers most of the time. SHe is soooo squirmy and she cries!
I am so glad I get to spend so much time with her. A position has opened up at work that is M-F 8-4:30 and I am totally qualified for it, but staying home with her is more important so I will continue to suffer on night shift. It is so worth it! I love my little girl!

Brooke decided to be a houdini monkey last week and slithered her way out of her straps while in her stroller. I couldnt see her doing this because of the sun shades, but when I realized she was standing up, I stopped to sit her back down and re-strap her in, but she jumped/flew out of the stroller and hit her head on the sidewalk. She cried, I freaked out, but luckily she is just fine - just a few bumps and scrapes. That girl is going to give me lots of gray hair. She has no fear!
We sold lots of our baby gear and clothes at a garage sale last weekend. It feels so good to get rid of stuff and make a lil extra cash!

We're doing well, 6.5 weeks until our due date but we think it's about 5 more weeks until she's here unless she miraculously stops growing at such a rapid speed! Good news is that we're all ready! The nursery is done, got the diapers and formula ready and now we just wait. I can't wait to post picutes of her soon!!!!!
Your post got me crying, Im sorry that you guys have to go through this but I can feel how much love you and your H have for this baby. Your baby is so lucky to have you both as parents.

I can't wait until our next u/s...at 8 weeks it did look slightly like a baby, but I know when we go again at 16 weeks it really will!
Do you know when you'll go for the gender u/s?
