Incubus

Did anybody else go to the concert last night? I've seen them before so I knew it would be good, but I was blown away by how awesome it was. I also may have lost my mind when Brandon took his shirt off, I have had a crush on him since 9th grade.

Re: Incubus

  • No! I would have love to have gone had I known (yet anotehr gripe of mine abt Jax radio). I saw them when I was in HS as part of a big festival and  wasn't necessarily excited to see them, but I was surprised at how much of their stuff I knew that I didn't realize I knew. lol. They do put on an awesome show.

  • Yeah the promoter for this show was LiveNation and they don't spend a ton of money on advertising. Really wasn't the radio's fault :)
  • I saw them in Orlando in 2007. They put on an amazing show.

Also, I probably would have lost my mind like a ninth grader when Brandon Boyd took his shirt off, too. Yum.

Sorry, I still blame the radio station. I don't think the latest pop culture icon pays the radio station to talk about what they did last week, but they still talk about it on air.

I guess that's the issue.. Radio has become paid promotion -- it's not actually about music.

You're right, we all have to make money. It's a business. Just like healthcare isn't really about healthcare anymore. The same argument could be made for many industries.
