He's LeAnne Rimes's new husband. The one who cheated on his wife with her and who she cheated on her husband with.
I didn't realize that it was him until like 5 minutes ago and honestly for that reason alone, I'll probably not watch it again. I hate LeAnne Rimes and I think the way they all handled the whole thing was absolutely terrible!

Nothing personal but this is the kind of stuff that I'll never understand. Yes, what they did was seriously f*cked up but why should that make a difference in regards to a tv show? that was 2 years ago and they have the right to their personal lives. Haven't you ever done something you thought could've been handled differently? should you be blacklisted because of it?

Ooooooooh. I don't follow celeb gossip that closely, but I remember hearing something about this. I can't stand LeAnne Rimes though, so I'm sure it went in one ear and out the other. I think she's been grasping at the straws of fame for the past 5 years or so...
I was intrigued, so I watched it.
Wasn't a fan.
Pass.
Yeah, I was kind of expecting more.
I'll probably watch it again next week and then decide.
I'm kind of that way too. I think it's because an actor's job is to portray a character, and a huge part of the battle is convincing the audience that you are that character. So once a person's real life becomes too distracting, it's hard to believe that person in character because you're just looking at the TV thinking it's the douche who left his wife and kids for LeAnn Rimes.
I feel like most of the best actors out there stay out of the spotlight for that reason. And I think that's why some of the overexposed actors (like Lindsay Lohan) have a hard time getting good roles.
This is what happens for me. It distracts me from the show because he's a d-bag in real life. Granted, his character on Playboy club fits what a douche he is in real life so maybe he fits the role well!
Plus its not like he got a speeding ticket or something. He publicly cheated on his wife and showed no compassion when she was trying to deal with it (and neither did LeAnne). I think of Brad Pitt the same way.

ugh, i hate that! i mean, i didn't notice this b/c i only watched about 15 minutes of the show, but i hate when shows play up stereotypes.
anyway, the 15 minutes i watched weren't interesting enough for me to tune in anymore.
Oh, give me a break. People can think that he's a slimy douche if they want and feel repelled by the show as a result. I did find myself thinking, "That guy's an idiot," and it probably did mar my viewing of the (mediocre to alright) show.
The bolded is beyond ridiculous. There is nothing in my life that I have done that comes even close to his banging LeeAnn Rimes and ruining his marriage. Not a darn thing. I mean, yeah, I stole a piece of gum when I was four, but I didn't go against the vows that I made before god. Let's shove the moral relativity, shall we?
The show was ok/good. I thought it was contrived how the bunnies were portrayed as being at the forefront of women's lib. There was a little too much "bunny" with the tails and all. I know it's the premise of the show, but I found it tacky and gross. I'd bet 80 grand that it's going to be canceled due to lackluster ratings, seeing as how the premiere only pulled 5 million viewers and is getting annihilated by Castle and Hawaii 5-0. This show would be better if it were on HBO or some other network, so they could go all out with the sexuality and violence.
i liked it but i think eddie cibrian is a total douche. and like pp said- i think his personal life overshadows his career. but whatever- i liked the show! and so did dh so WINNER!
Agreed, I am only half way through, but I am stopping watching now that I found out who Eddie is. I don't like Brad Pitt anymore either. I am okay with forgiving all the drug induced stuff hollywood gets into, but cheating on a spouse so publicly makes me not want watch anything you are in anymore.
Just finished watching the show. It was OK. Not what I expected. I go to bed at 10:00 so I DVR shows that start at that time. It is on season pass. I don't know if I will get bored with it or not.
And I will never understand why people care so much about what actors/actresses do IRL? How does that personally affect you? Seriously? Who cares if he cheated on his wife and she on her husband. It has nothing to do with their ability to act and portray a character. It happens every single day in this world. Hell, your DH could be cheating on you and you don't even know it. it just isn't publicized because you and your DH are not in the public eye. So say he is cheating on you; does that mean that everyone single person who comes into contact with him should hate him and never want to talk to him again? I mean, the server in a restaurant, cashier at Walmart, barrister at starbucks. Should they all shun him because he cheated on you? What a stupid statement to say that you won't watch a show because the main character cheated on his wife. Who the F cares!
