Let me start off by saying that I'm one of those people that like to be in control of things. I plan EVERYTHING.. lol.  From my previous post's, you've already read that my husband and I are under contract to buy a SS.  I knew going into this that it was going to be a long strenous process. It was worth it for us because the house is literally an amazing deal. I just HATE not knowing when I will be moving or when I should start packing. There are some days that I give myself a pep talk like "keep waiting it will be yours." then there are other days like today where I start to question whether or not a SS is for us. UGH. Tongue Tied .. sorry for the vent

    These are my exact feelings. I am going through the same thing and the anxiety is killing me. I wish I had some advice for you but all I can think of is to try to stay busy with other things :-/

    I am right there with you! We're not in a SS contract process but there are days when we find out really good information and I start shopping online for curtains, couches and appliances. Then there are days where we're waiting and thinking the worst and I don't even want to do anything, not even work!!! All I can say is this process is VERY stressful for a reason...because once you sign those countless sheets of paper and get those keys in your hand no one can take them from you and you will officially be a HOME OWNER!!!! You'll have a piece of land to call your own and no one, but your hubby, can tell you what to do with it! Throughout all the waiting and gathering documents just think about that. You've come this far and no one or nothing will stop you. You and this house are inseparable!! I hope this helps! GL

    Ugh.. I really HATE this process! Its like you can't help but to think about the house. We are currently renting and we have already told our landlord that we will be moving but don't know when. Everytime Macys has a one day sale I'm in there with the hubby trying to buy stuff for our future home. The way I figure, we are moving somewhere so the new stuff will be used regardless :)

    OP, so did the bank approve your SS?  Also, just a heads up but be careful with all of your purchases and make sure you don't buy too much/too expensive stuff because you may have issues with getting your mortgage approval if there is a lot of abnormal stuff.  And if you are doing a SS you are most likely going to be on a tight timetable to close and you don't want to be slowed down by having to provide tons of additional documentation to your lender.
