New fall TV shows: what do you love?
What shows do you like so far? And what sucks?
Like: Revenge, New Girl
Gets one more week to get better: Whitney, Two Broke Girls
Axed from the DVR: Up All Night
I haven't seen Person of Interest yet but we recorded it. I'll watch it after Supernatural tonight.
ETA: Person of Interest stays. I think it has potential.
Re: New fall TV shows: what do you love?
continue to DVR: Ringer (cheesy and soapy fun), Playboy Club (also cheesy, would be better suited for cable)
giving it an episode or two more: Up All Night (I watched the 2nd episode tipsy and liked it better)
axed: Free Agents (so bad)
I haven't watched Revenge, Prime Suspect or Unforgettable.
Suburgatory, Pan Am haven't aired yet and are set to DVR.
And can I say how happy I was to watch a new episode of Community? It is my most favorite show on tv right now. Love.
So Tasty, So Yummy
I have only had a chance to watch Unforgettable and Two Broke Girls.
Unforgettable will stay because we love all the crime shows.
Two Broke Girls was so-so. I have a hard time regularly watching shows that can't be viewed by the whole family.
Up All Night and Whitney are still on the DVR.
The only new one I've tried so far is New Girl and I liked it! Still waiting for Once Upon a Time to start next month.
I'm with Pagas, so glad Community is back! Best show on tv IMO!
love: modern family, up all night, how i met your mother
giving it a 1-2 more weeks: 2 and a half men, whitney
We didn't add many, but:
New Girl - I liked the first episode, but I like Zooey Deschanel
Prime Suspect - not bad, I'll keep it
Playboy Club - didn't get to watch yet
Up All Night - first one was ok, but I haven't heard anything good about the second episode so it may go away
Pan Am - I'll record this Sunday
I wanted to watch Unforgettable, but didn't record it. I didn't add anything else...we already watch way too much tv.
I could have written this nearly word for word.
I liked Playboy Club, although I agree, it would probably be better on cable. I don't know how I feel about L&O:SVU without Stabler.
I'm over The Office.
New Girl seems promising.
I just watched The Secret Circle, and liked the first two episodes. I needed something to satisfy my CW craving.
Waiting for a few more to start up but have been pleased with Modern Family, Glee, Big Bang Theory.
Like: Grey's, 2 and a half men, Ringer (haven't watched the second episode, only watched the pilot. and i love SMG.)
Waiting to watch: Revenge, Two Broke Girls
I work 2 nights out of the week at the restaurant so I don't get to watch shows on Wednesdays and Thursdays. They wait in my DVR until Friday or Saturday. So no Axed shows for me, yet.
I was very upset about this.
I read The Secret Circle series as a young teenager and loved it, so I was super-excited when I found out they were making it into a series. I've only seen the first one so far, but I enjoyed it and I think it stays true to the books.
Ack! Why would they do that.
Gah!!!
More bad news

Noooooo.
I watched the 1st Up All Night but haven't seen the second one yet, so I'll hold out on yay or naying it.
Haven't seen Whitney, Charlie's Angels, and Unforgettable yet but they are on the DVR.
I, personally, liked 2 Broke Girls. New Girl seems promising too.
Also waiting for Suburgatory and Pan Am
"Jennifer Love Hewitt apparently will replace Hargitay's Detective Olivia Benson."
Ugh, gross!
I was JUST about to post this same thing. I was like huh??
Pretty much. That just seems odd, I don't think she can pull it off.
DVR'd a few things this past week but haven't watched much yet.
I caught the 2nd half of Free Agents. yawn.
Saw the first episodes of Up All Night and New Girl....felt like they were trying too hard, but will give it benefit of the doubt as many new series try to hit the ground running but need time to "settle".
Whitney looked promising, but I was a little disappointed with the return to the "recorded in front of a live studio audience" format. Live or not, the laughter still seems forced. Will give it another week or so.
It may sound odd, but in a way, I'm hoping to not like any of the other shows we've recorded. I've done well to really cut back on TV over the last couple of years so don't want to add back too much. I'd prefer to have just 2 or 3 series (i.e. Greys Anatomy, Glee) and 2 or 3 sitcoms (i.e. Modern Family, 30 Rock) and not much more.

Revenge and Secret Circle were really good.
Xfactor is interesting
Pan Am and Once Upon a Time are getting on the DVR too.
I was happy to see all of my other shows back!
I still have Up All Night on the DVR
