Getting Pregnant board
Do any of you lurk/post over there? I used to lurk all the time, posted occasionally, and still sometimes lurk. Now that I have a pregnancy ticker I'm way too scared to post though for fear of offending some of the regulars because I'm pregnant. There is soooooo much drama on there today!
Honestly though I do feel that board is a little cut throat. Certain posters seem to just feel like they should get to dictate what can and can't be posted and what is and isn't offensive. It's really silly.

A LOT of the other boards are really snarky, not just the baby-related ones. I just don't get it. Aren't we just all here to get advice, to chat and have fun?
Hence why i stay here and have fun and only lurk on the other boards like D&R for cool decorating things I'll never be able to afford and the Pets board for cute kitty/puppy pictures :P

EXACTLY!!!
I know that is why I love this board! I mean it doesn't make sense to get your panties in a bunch about something someone on an internet board said. Everyone has their opinion and is entitled to it. There was one board that had someone call child protective services to report someone who had posted that they let their child ride in the car without being in a car seat. I mean to me that is just crazy!
The only other board I post on fairly regularly is my month board on the bump-overall it is pretty snark free and supportive, but this will always be my favorite board :-)
I've gone over there and I think the same thing... A bit too much drama and fear of flaming over there. I absolutely love our board here and love how most of us are also friends on facebook, so it's almost like we're IRL friends...
I really only ever check this board and the Blended families board. That one can have some drama too but it's b/c people are being told what they don't wanna hear but it's the truth and it's what has happened to other people in their situations so they get very defensive and then they end up DDing. But Overall they have a VERY supportive, VERY knowledgeable set of ladies over there.

I like our board best. I used to lurk on GP for resources on TTC, but this is the only board I feel comfortable enough to post on. My BMB on TB was way to full of craycray for a while and I was a bit scared of it, so I never started posting there, so I just lurk and read what interests me without having to get involved, lol.

The GP board is crazy. I started checking it out maybe a month ago. The only posts I comment on are the NOTD ones. I probably shouldn't even do that!
I love this board! Everyone is thoughtful and kind! I like that we are a small group and have gotten to know each other!
The only other board I consistently post on is Nest Book Club. We talk about books. Nothing to get to snarky about over there!
