What color/kind of Hunter boots should I get?

I may finally bite the bullet and get a pair of Hunter rain boots.  I read online reviews about the gloss and non-gloss boots.  I read that the wax on the non-gloss can come off onto your clothing/fabrics.  Is this true?  Which kind would you recommend?

I'm debating which color to get too.  I want a color that will go with everything, so I'd normally choose black boots.  But MH said to have fun with color for rainboots, so should I get that army green color?  I don't think I'd do red or pink, etc.

So, if you have the boots and you love and wear them, which ones did you get?  As always, thank you so much in advance!
