Jersey Shore 9-22-11 (*spoilers*)
What are your thoughts on how Jionni reacted in last nights episode? As I can clearly see why he would be so mad, I can't help but feel so badly for Snooki. She was so upset and obviously VERY drunk. I think he should have manned up and talked to her versus packing his bags and leaving!

I thought it was nice to not have Sammi and Ronnie fighting for once!!
I think Jionni totally overreacted! I can understand him being mad, but to storm out of the bar and then just leave Italy, not cool! Like PP said, Did he not know what he was getting himself into when he started dating Snooki?? I totally thought that Mike and Jionni were going to get into it the way Mike was acting at the bar. I hate Mike, he is super creepy!
Mike is disgusting! When he says "get it in" it makes my skin crawl. He is just ugly to me inside and out!
I totally agree about the Deana/Snooki hook up being worse then her lifting up her dress at the club. I mean it is Snokki!
And holy cow, Jionni is so short!!! Wow!

DH and I both kind of gasped when Jionni finally showed back up at the house, and Snooki went running down the stairs to meet him, and he blew right past her, and kept going up the steps.
I understand him being mad, but his reaction would have been appropriate for finding out Snooki cheated or something, not flashing her goods at a club.
I loved when Vinny asked Pauly what happened outside of the house, and Pauly goes "Who cares?" Haha! Love him.
Btwe - are Ron and Sam together right now? I thought they weren't - the last we saw of their drama was when he bought her the roses outside of the club, then threw them out later at the house, right?
They don't seem to be spending time together, but I forget where they stand.
That was hilarious! I love Pauly!!

It cracked me up when Sammi had the realization of what it felt like for her roommates when she & Ronnie fought and said "Sorry."
I think Jionni has a Madonna/Whore complex re: Snooki since she started mentioning wanting to be his wife, have children, etc.
Diitto all of this! I gasped too when she ran down the stairs and he just blew past her. The whole time I was waiting for him to calm down and see how upset she was and try to talk things out. I was also shocked that none of the roomates tried to stop him on his way out. They were all like "Yeah.. umm.. Jionni.. don't go... " But nobody really tried to stop him. I couldn't believe it when he left! He flew all the way out there and was just going to turn back around and leave? Like pp's mentioned, what did he think he was getting himself into dating Snooki?! Has he not watched a single episode of Jersey Shore? I also agree that her hooking up with Deana was way worse than her flashing her goods while he was present at the club. By the previews for next week's episode it looks like the roomates get him on the phone and try to talk him into coming back.. I hope they do. I can't imagine how heartbroken Nicole will be if he just leaves. But maybe not.. seeing as she hooks up with Vinny again in the previews. What a mess!
I also lol'd when Pauly said "Who cares!" when they got back to the house and Vinny asked him what happened to Nicole.

Does anyone think Jionni is a little emotionally abusive/controlling? It comes across that way from his phone conversations with Snooki and then his behavior in this episode.
I didn't feel bad for him at all in this episode because his reaction was so over-the-top for the situation. I could see him getting pissed and wanting to go back to the house, but to walk all over town with roommates chasing you is really dramatic. And ditto everyone else- you are dating Snooki... someone who is famous for being a drunk idiot.
Yes to all of this. I definitely think he seems controlling and emotionally abusive.
