I've finished Unbroken and though I wouldn't mind re-reading it, I thought I'd see what you guys recommend. I want to take a book to Vegas. Plus now that I'm reading again, I feel lost when I don't have one! Any recs appreciated.
Re: I need a book.
Have you read: Water for Elephants or Room? I also read a lot of Jodi Picoult books and mystery books by Patricia Cornwell.
Have you read Something Borrowed? Also, Memory Keeper's Daughter?
I'll keep thinking. What genre did you have in mind?

Just do it!
I enjoyed "Something Borrowed" and "Something Blue". I took them with me to Punta Cana.
Stephie,
I don't know how you feel about suspense/political thrillers, but I love "The Charm School" by Nelson DeMille. Also "The Lion's Game" and "The Lion" by him. He's got some really great books.
If you haven't read "The girl with the Dragon Tattoo" series I highly recommend it. I'm planning on downloading "The hunger Games" today as I've had a few people recommend it. I've also become a big fan of David Baldacci books. I've read True Blue, The Whole Truth, and Deliver Us From Evil; all excellent! They are mostly, thriller, mystery, action/adventure type books.
Thanks for starting this thread, I'm definitely going to have to add some of these to my reading list!

The Hunger Games series is really good. I had my whole office reading it last winter.
I got the Hunger Games series when I went Puerto Rico. Couldn't stop reading them!!!! I spent over half my vacation with my nose in a book!!!
Another top summer favorite was Tina Fey's book - Bossypants. Absolutely hilarious. I was constantly giggling - I'm sure the lady sitting next to me on the plane thought I was crazy.
