Weekend Plans
Happy Friday! What is everyone up to this weekend?
Today - Baking some apple pies! Love the way it makes my house smell so good, smells like fall!!!
Saturday - No plans. My mother is coming up next week so I will probably do some house cleaning...oh fun
Sunday - Cumberland Fair!! I am so excited to take the LO to see the animals. It should be a fun time!

Re: Weekend Plans
My weekend sounds similar to yours saullen.
Tonight: groceries and playing with Abe.
Tomorrow: Staying home ALL day and cooking and baking. I'm going to roast pumpkin and make soup and baby food. I just wish it would be in the high 50s instead of 70 and rainy.
Sunday: Common Ground Fair. I am so excited to show Abe horses and sheep. And I can't wait for the food!!
Tomorrow is Smithsonian Museum Day so we're going to take advantage and see the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath for free.
Sunday we need to go to church (since we haven't been for the past month!) and then we'll probably catch up on projects around the house.
Tomorrow: I'm working at my favorite ceremony site with an awesome couple. Any time between now and then will be spent with my tush in my office chair catching up on editing (or doing laundry, cleaning the house, and cooking food for Sunday).
Sunday: We're having my parents (and their dog) and ILs over for an end of summer BBQ. It's been a while since we've got them together and my mom has apparently been looking forward to it for a while (according to my sister in Korea). Should be a fun day!
The only other excitement here is that our garage we built 2 years ago has been insulated and is being sheetrocked this weekend so we (meaning DH) can paint it before it snows. So excited about how good it looks!
Today: Wasn't feeling well this morning so stayed home from work. I think I picked a great day to stay home though. It's gorgeous out! Tonight: Dubbing around the house.
Tomorrow: Cleaning and some chores. Making pumpkin cookies. Some of DH's family is coming up to help us do some work on the house and to visit. They are bringing us a dresser for the baby's room. yay! We may go to camp with them tomorrow night. Not sure yet.
Sunday: Camp. Have to help take the dock out. Well I don't have to help this year, I get to sit and watch everyone else work (one of the nice perks of being pregnant!)
Tonight: catching up on tv with MH. Nothing exciting.
Tomorrow: Friends are hosting their annual local foods cook-off. So I need to go to the famer's market and cook! I'm planning on doing a braised leek and hard-boiled egg recipe. If there are no leeks, a cauliflower with cheese sauce. I also want to start sewing a pair of pajamas I just purchased the pattern for.
Sunday: baking and organizing day! I want to bake a pineapple gingerbread upside down cake and I need to start cleaning through some stuff and organizing some donations.
Friday: DH is picking up our stroller & car seat after work today and I'm doing some shopping for weekend projects. He would like to finish all of the touch-up painting so I'll cook & clean up around the house.
Saturday: DH will finish painting everything (fingers crossed!!!) & hanging curtain rods in the baby's room. The rest of our day depends on the weather... fall festival in town, farmers market, apple picking, nephew's football game, sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing, we'll see...
Sunday: DH is going to the race and my dad is taking my place, and yes I'm super bummed about missing it. While everyone is there, my mom is spending the day with me to get a few projects done. Things on the list: sew curtains, wash & put away baby clothes and other baby stuff, paint canvases for baby's room, clean up the garden, put out fall decorations, bake with apples... again, we'll see what gets done.
TONIGHT! I am in Orono playing DD and welcoming my cousin to the 21+ club.
TOMORROW - Maternity photos for one of my sorority sisters. Back to Gardiner to spend time with DH and puppy.
SUNDAY - cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, cooking, cleaning cleaning.
Tonight: The little one requested pizza for dinner. Who am I to deprive him, right? THen DH and I will have a date with the TV until we get too tired to stay up, usually around 10.
Tomorrow: I think I'll see about going to the consignment shop to get some fall/winter stuff for James. We also have to hit the grocery store. Otherwise, we're cleaning our pit of a house. I think I might do windows, vaccum James' rug, and the kitchen floor. Pasta & meatballs for dinner.
Sunday: There is a local belly dancer costume sale in the afternoon I want to hit up- I need some hip scarves and a circle skirt!- and that's about it. Oh, and more cleaning- blech. Chicken chili for dinner.
I'm looking forward to a mellow weekend.
I took today off. I'm not really sure why but I did. Oh well. Mental health days are always necessary!
I spent today running errands and grocery shopping. I spent so much money I want to puke. Hate spending so much.
tomorrow t and i are going to nh for a baby shower. its for another sigma nu wife. should be a good time. maybe stopping to visit my sil in portland on the way home,
sunday t is getting her pictures taken in bangor. ill definitely be saying hi to my mom and probably seeing a friend with a new baby.
monday i have off too so ill be relaxing and napping. but cleaning really needs to be done too
Met a friend for supper at Panera tonight (and ran into Kristin!) DH is currently installing our new programmable thermostat. Looking forward to some tv time soon. Well, until I fall asleep, which will also be soon.
Tomorrow I was all excited to take Eli to a pumpkin drop in Sanford, but it got canceled due to rain. The good news is that DH was supposed to work, but got the day off. Think we might go to the Children's Museum in Dover and out to lunch. Maybe pick apples on the way. No other plans for the rest of the day. Making mac and cheese for supper thanks to that post the other day!
Sunday Eli and I are going to check out the Apple Festival just up the road from us. No other plans except hanging out and doing stuff around the house. Probably some baking and making a mexican chicken crockpot dish.
After a crazy week, we packed tonight for my SIL's wedding in Rhode Island.
Tomorrow - leaving first thing, quick stop at the Farmer's market to pick up a special order of flowers. I'm the "florist".
Get together dinner Saturday night and wedding at 3:00 on Sunday. Who does that? Leaving right after dinner to get home at a decent time. It's a small ceremony with no "reception", just a dinner with no dancing. :-(
I'm a little late on this...
Last night: After DH got home I went to Target to get some new shirts and other non-essentials... and then I picked up dinner for everyone at Panera (and saw Sarah and Eli) then DH and I watched a couple episodes of Merlin on Netflix
Today: We went to Carver, MA to the King Richard's Faire with some of DH's co-workers
Tomorrow: lazy morning, then heading to Portland after naptime to get my engagement ring inspected and to get the boys haircuts (they are getting super shaggy!!)
This is us exactly and we're still on the go! Although, Tim did let me sleep in this morning and took Abby to the pool (I think!) at the hotel. ooooh, here's the door! gotta go!
