Hello all,
My hubby and I have seem to lost all of our friends. atleast temporarily anyway lol. his best friend is getting married and buying a house at the same time so we haven't seen him and his fiance in months, his other friend just got in a relationship so he is in nesting mode, my best friend is taking 16 credits at school and working full time and my other best friend just moved to Dallas. So basically we have no one to hang out with besides our families and that's gotten old.
We are a recently married couple in our thirties. We are looking to meet new people to just hang out with. Go out to dinner or drinks, check out festivals or just have a movie night. Please reply if you want to hang or if you simply have advice on how to meet new people.

HI Michelle,
We babysat 3 of my neices and nephews last night and it confirmed that we want to be DINKs for a while. We had fun with them but it was a relief when their parents got home and E and I got to go home. Our home was like a monastary compared to my sisters house. lol
Hubby is a sports junkie. He is a HUGE Texans fan. He actually has a Houston Oilers tattoo.I don't follow football too much but I love the Rockets.
We are currently in the Galleria area and work in downtown so we spend a lot of time inside the loop. We both love coffee so we are currently on a mission to try all of the coffee houses on the Houston Press' Top 10 Coffee Houses. Catalina Coffee has been our favorite so far.
Michelle,
Is that your daughter by the way. She is adoreable
Major plus points for the parts in bold! I had the Houston Oilers 45 when I was little and used to "cheer" around the house in favor of the Oilers. My step dad was a major cowboys fan. I am annoying like that. I know we have several Texans fans on this page - some of the Houston nesties are super avid football fans. I am not sure about basketball.
That sounds like a fun mission (working your way through the top 10 coffee houses)!
And yes - that is my daughter, but the pic is from this time last year. Thanks for the nice comment!
Keep an eye out for nestie GTGs. They happen sporadically but some involve kids and others don't. Most are ITL or west side. We have a Pearland group too if you don't mind driving down here, but kids are a real possibility - of course there is also killer pizza where we usually go so it's worth it. =D
