Andy was a good choice for boss, he is goofy but sweet, kind of like Michael
love that Angela is knocked up by her gay senator husband

Re: Office 9/22
I really like Andy as boss. My recording did start during the first min. What was going on with the " Planking " ?
Does anyone think it's possible that because Angelia's husband is gay, maybe the baby is Dwight's?
This exactly.
I thought about that too, but I don't know if they will go that way. I guess time will tell on that one.
I really liked this episode. I love the James Spader character. I think Andy will be ok as a boss. I was kind of hoping for Darryl though to be the regional manager. I thought they did a little too much with the planking thing.
I hate James Spader. I was really hoping he'd become CEO and go away. Or be like Jo and just pop in once every 8 episodes or so.
Otherwise, I liked the episode. It seemed much better than most of last season. I have to ask though- How the hell did Kevin end up on the winners list? He can't even tell the difference between a button and a dime.
My exact reaction too, there were some funny moments, especially Dwight's books (I loved how he had several) of lists.
All of this. Especially the dog commercial part! Haha.
I was VERY skeptical going into this season because I've been watching The Office since season 1 and I haven't been disappointed until last season. However, I was happy with last nights episode and I look forward to next week.
I thought it was decent. I thought the planking was funny, but only because the whole planking thing is general is so random and ridiculous, it makes sense to be random and ridiculous on the show.
James Spader is pretty funny. He talked Jo out of her own job.
I hope Angela's baby is Dwight's. That would be funny.
I thought they did a wonderful job with it!! The planking had me almost peeing my pants, especially when Dwight went on the stop planking rampage. I also really loved the lists.
For it being the first episode without Steve Carell I thought it started off pretty good.
I also hope Angela's baby is Dwight--remember they did have the contract!
I thought it was good. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. LOVED Andy as manager. It'll be interesting to see him in that role. I wonder what will happen between him and Erin now that he's her boss?
I was cracking up about the lists Dwight had made up too! Love his weirdness and I love that they all knew about the lists already and used it as a reference tool.
I hadn't thought about the baby being Dwight's yet... that's possible! They did have that contract about having a baby, didn't they?
Interesting. We were watching reruns last week and saw the episode when they met with the lawyer, and I asked my husband if he thought they were going to (finally) come back to that story line.
