Storing sewing patterns?
Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker here for a little while; I've posted on the D&R board but not here. Came out of 'hiding' to ask anyone who sews:
How/where do you store your sewing patterns? When I only had a few it wasn't a big deal, but now that I have more the pile of them on my cutting table is starting to get out of control!
I don't have any in envelopes; they're all either free patterns printed off the internet, or something I've designed and had a patternmaker create for me.
Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

I store each pattern and its instructions in a page protector that goes into a three-ring binder. I have tabs for different kinds of projects: Baby, Home, Clothing, etc., to keep them organized. I also put a white mailing label at the top of each page protector with the name of the project. It's worked out really well so far.
My purchased patterns (McCall's, etc.) go in a large plastic shoe box with a cover. It's easy to flip through and find them that way.
