As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I was on the homepage of TN and this popped up on on the popular topics bubble or whatever. At first I was reading and going "what is wrong with this girl" and then it just turned into a flame-fest, it's pretty amusing

Maybe there's no need to trash the OP, but I have an extremely hard time feeling sorry for someone who says they are worried about weighing 110 with never having to watch calories or exercise. And crying while getting intimate because of said weight? I'd probably never respond to such a post, but I'd be rolling my eyes all the same. It's sad that someone like the OP lacks self-confidence of any kind. Good lord, I normally weight between 130-140 and my H doesn't go running for the hills when he sees me!
But yeah lex, I've noticed that on other boards on TN, the posters will veer from the original post topic and then just start bashing each other. Cat fight!

Ok, yeah, I hear you Lex. I don't believe in sunshine and rainbows all the time at all, but we are all essentially strangers here when you get to it, and I just don't see the point in picking a fight or bashing anyone. If I don't have something constructive to say, I usually say nothing. Or I am just conscientious of my wording if I need to give "hard advice."
I will admit one time some lady was griping about her stepson on another board, and I jumped on the flame-fest with that one, because it totally hit home; dear friends of mine are desperately trying to conceive, and they can't, and here this women was, b!tching about a 2 yr old she didn't want. I kinda lost it... :-/
Honestly tho, the OP in this post has a problem that many women would love to have: being 100lbs and dealing with 5lbs of weight gain?? Huh. Many many women struggle with their weight at much greater extremes, and I'm sure that the OP's post came off bad for that reason, even if to her, it's a legit issue you know?
