As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Kindle Lending at MoCo
I just thought I'd update those of us with Kindles. The Montgomery County website has Kindle lending now! I looked yesterday when others were talking about getting it at their libraries and I didn't see anything but when I went back today, there it was! So excited for this since I have been reading these ebooks in Adobe Digital Library program but now I can take them with me.

I'm kind of excited about this! I kind of wanted a Kindle but decided against it because of the lending situation. Yay!!

For real! I just downloaded 2 to my kindle. You just need a library card and then follow the instructions for the overdrive library on their website. I have used it for a while to just download books and read them on my computer, now I just need to select the kindle edition instead and it does the whole automatic delivery to my Kindle via wireless network thing. It was awesome.
True this will only make it worse but maybe it will encourage the libraries to add more copies of each.
with the nook you always (?) could get books from the library. it's a new thing with the kindle.
