How are you doing? I don't think I ever saw an update after your hospital post. Thinking about you!

Re: **nursecheryl**

  • Thank you so much for thinking of me. I have been doing better. I was discharged from the hospital the next morning after another ultrasound. The next morning's ultrasound was not as concerning. I still had some fluid in my pelvis and the complex cyst/mass on my right ovary. I was told that I would feel crampy on and off over the next week . I then went to the doctor this past wednesday and she did another ultrasound and still saw this mass/cyst, but it looked like it was a little smaller. We were told that should absorb itself over time. They also checked my hormone level and it was down to 12. I was told my period should come by the weekend. But now its Sunday night and still hasn't come. Overall I have been feeling pretty good but a little more crampy today than the past few days.

I have been "waiting" to miscarry for 2 months!!! I want this over!!!!!

After this whole ordeal is over, I have to have 2 periods and then she wants to do another HSG (dye test to see if everything is open) again. She is thinking the first chemical pregnancy probably was another ectopic pregnancy. She is very suspicious of my tubes now. If they find a partial or full blockage we may be looking at doing IVF. I am so ready to move forward. I will do anything at this point.

Oh my gosh, I didn't realize it had been 2 months... how crazy. I guess (if there is such a thing in this situation) the silver lining is that you know a possible "reason" for it happening. Sigh. It just completely sucks and isn't fair, regardless, but hopefully you'll start soon and know when your next date to look forward to is. I've still got everything imaginable crossed for you to have a 2012 baby!!

Take care of yourself & know that lots of people are praying for you. You are one of the strongest people I've ever "met." **hugs**

  • The time is flying and dragging at the same time. I found out the last week of July while were in Mexico..

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I am really hoping that 2012 works for us better than 2011 did.  I chose to work both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year in hopes of having a little one for next years.
