Today we have puppy school and then I have to go to the store to pick up food for this week and, gumble grumble, diapers to take on vacation with us. I'm not looking forward to disposable diapers, last time she pooped in one it went all the way up her back and got on DH's clothes when he picked her up!
QOTD: I love wandering shops with DH (he likes shopping) and even better flea markets. We go to an antiques/ flea market every year in Zurich (December) and I can't wait to go this year!

I had a busy weekend and feel so tired today. I just have errands to run and am meeting up with a friend for coffee later.
QOTD: Dancing. I love when H and I get a night out together (happens so rarely now) and dance all night.

Good morning ladies! I'm doing OK. We had a highly productive weekend around the house here so that was nice. But, as usual, I'm tired. So.effing.tired. I just keep hoping and praying that sometime soon Jax will get the hang of sleeping more at night. I am so sick of his feeding every 2-2.5 hours.
Today Leo has pre-school and I have an eye dr. appt.
QOTD: I have a dirty mind, the first thing I thought of when I read this was have sex LMAO. Any way, my favorite thing would be travelling. I miss going off on a whim with dh SO much.
Morning ladies. I woke up with another headache this morning. I've pretty much had it the past four days and I am a little bit tired of it now! Hopefully the tylenol kicks in soon. But otherwise, the business head is out of the office this week, so should be a relatively quiet week - even though I have a ton of work to get done.
QOTD: Haha, my mind is the same as Expats :-). But other than that, I love just curling up with some good wine and watching a movie. Or travel. Depends on what mood I'm in.

We got a sunny day today and not much going on. Maybe hook up with a friend for a playdate to finally catch up. And then go to the park and feed the ducks. DS has not done this yet.
QOTD: I like to go on hikes/walks with DH and either bring a thermos for a hot drink or stop in a pub for one.
Good morning! The weekend was interesting to say the least -- we were supposed to have a belated birthday party for DH at the house, but no one came, so it was a flurry of getting ready for the party activity and then disappointing hours and clean up. DH and I had several fights over the weekend, so ti was not a great time round my house. Sunday was better than Saturday, but I was glad when Monday morning came -- even if it mean going to work and dealing with the.most.annoying.client.ever.
QOTD: As sad and sappy as it sounds, I really like just being with him. We were long-distance for so long that being together is still new and exciting and we are still getting used to each other, and I am really enjoying the time when it's just us on our couch watching our tv.
Morning! Not much going on here, caught up on some TV and about to go through some random boxes that do not have home quite yet. I also got a very unexpected job opportunity today, so I'll hopefully be setting up a coffee meeting to discuss it further. Other than that, when DH gets home, we're headed over to a friends' house, DH is playing squash with friend's DH, and our puppies and her DS are having a play date.
QOTD: I really love traveling with DH, but also just relaxing on the couch together is fun too

Morning! Typically day over here. Work and then the gym. I don't know why, but both DH and I slept poorly last night, so I am tired.
QOTD: A lot of things, it is hard to pick on. I love travelling and just exploring a new place with DH. I also love just being in each other's company; over coffee or hiking.

I went and bought the fabric to cover our headboard. Yeah, not so exciting seeing it typed out.
QOTD: In Europe, I used to love and go explore new little towns while driving through the mountains. Here, we don't even have any days off together anymore and are only awake and together for about two hours a day. So we don't get to do anything together.
Good morning! Today I'm fighting off the last of this rotten cold I got last week. Thank god it seems to be on its way out. Other than that just the usual...some laundry, tidying up, and maybe a trip to the store near our house to pick up a few things we need. Not such an exciting day over here. But I'm enjoying some of the last alone time before my mom gets here NEXT WEEK! Yikes!
QOTD: Going new places or just doing something spontaneous. Once early in our relationship we just decided one night to drive to Valencia in the middle of the night and see the sunrise. I think I will miss being able to do things like that when baby is here, but at the same time I do know we'll still be able to travel. I love being with him in general (obviously) doing anything, but travelling is something we really have a great time doing together.
Morning!! I'm exhausted and just trying to stay awake :-P I got up at 4 AM to watch the Steelers, and then headed straight to work after that.
I'm so looking forward to work being over so I can head home and relax! :-)
QOTD: I really enjoy spending time at home with DH. We're both pretty busy with work and other things, so when we have time together at home, it's great to just enjoy it. I prefer to have quiet weekends at home with him, since the week gets so busy!

My Doha Adventures
Good morning. My MIL left yesterday, so today is the first day alone for the new au pair. (Our first au pair quit pretty much upon arrival). It'll be a busy work week, so hopefully not too stressful as DH and I are still getting settled into a routine.
QOTD: date night - go out for a nice dinner, watch a movie, intimate time...
Good afternoon. Today is crazy at work, but after this, it's one more crazy day, and then things will slow down a bit. My weekend was great. We got tons done around the house, and had friends over for a delicious lunch yesterday.
QOTD: Going for long walks in our local park. We always seem to have the best conversations during those walks.
