I loved the line "tortilla on a trench coat" and I thought it was a really good season premiere and at the moment (it's really late) I can't think of anything else to say..lol

I thought it was a really awesome start to the season. I hope they can keep it up.
I loved the scenes with Death "I had a feeling I was going to reap someone today. *looks at the tied up couple* Don't worry, not you". And they tried to bribe him with fried pickle chips! Awesome. I also liked how Death tried to take Cas down a peg.
Do you think Sam's having wicked bad hallucinations or is Lucifer really in his head messing with the wiring?
And who was it that whispered "Castiel"? Was it Michael (since Cas said he needed to stay in the cage), the leviathan, or the true God?
I was really happy with it. I love that they redeemed Cas, but still made him a bad. At least now it's involuntary and Misha played the creepy so well.
The scene with Death was great, I agree, he's great.
I squeed when Lucifer popped up, DH mocked me mercilessly. I love him! DH is now convinced Sam is still really in the cage, but I think he's just having vivid memories or hallucinations. I'm sure while he was locked up Lucifer probably taunted him by pretending to be Dean or making him think he was out. I'm looking forward to the crazy next week. And more Lucifer!
Not a lot of hope in this episode. With Cas needing saving and Sam needing fixing (clearly he can't hunt how he is now) you gotta wonder what they're going to do!
ETA: I also wondered who whispered to Cas - if they're going to go the real God route or if it was the things inside him or what.
LOVED it. The whole time I just kept thinking, "man, I love this show."
It may have passed Buffy for me. I feel like a traitor even typing it.

I love evil Cas! I wish he would be around all season being all evil and psycho.
And I love the return of Mark Pelligrino (Lucifer). I had no idea he was coming back and was so happy to see his name in the opening credits. I think this season premier was ten times better than last years. I was a bit let down last season so I am hoping for a full redemption this year.
