showing your home when you still live there
how do you guys do this? I know we shouldn't be here when people come to look. But should we do a lock box still? Or would "by appointment only" really be a disadvantage to selling?

We have a lockbox because we are gone before the potential buyer and their agent comes. Because they have an hour window, we don't just leave with the door open or unlocked.
Our showing are by appointment. Only open houses are drop in.
I hate you. LOL
We did a lock box but we also didn't require a 24 hour notice. Very rarely, though, have we not gotten 24 hours.
