Dh Vent
I meant to vent about this on Wednesday during the "what's bugging you
post" and couldn't remember what I wanted to whine about. 
Can I just say.... it really irritates me when DH doesn't answer his phone. I often wonder what the point of him even having a phone is, because he clearly doesn't answer it. He works the kind of job where he should be able to answer his phone pretty much anytime, and if he's on another call at the time he "should" be able to call back relatively shortly thereafter.
I have been trying to call the man for over two hours now. It would irritate me in general, let alone being 9 months pregnant and feeling like I can't even get ahold of him. I joke around all the time that he's going to call me back 7 hours later one day and I'm going to be in the hospital, saying "yeah, your Daughter's here, wanna come meet her?" 
Okay. End rant.

OMG I say the same thing to my DH! He hardley ever answers or responds to a text. I have said we shouldn't bother paying for his pricey iphone if he isn't going to use it. I don't even call or text that often, so when I do, frickin pay attention. He also doesn't listen to his voicemail for hours. It drives me crazy. He doesn't get a ton of calls, so maybe take the 10 seconds to see if it is important. Gah! He says he doesn't get the call or show the text message sometimes until hours after it's been sent? Really, because I also have an iphone on the same account and I get my sh!t.
Phew, I guess I needed to vent about that too.
I'm with ya on this one too, Ritzy. Except I'm not pregant. I might go postal on him if I was and he wasn't paying attention to his phone.

I'm sorry, but I laughed at this, probably because I could hear you saying that!
I understand, that bugs me too. Sometimes it's "i left my phone at the hotel" (he has a work & a personal phone, so now I just call his work phone. If he's in a mtg he'll at least text if possible to say he can't talk.
But being ready to pop any day, he should have that phone handy!

Ugh, that would be so annoying! DH was not always good about it, but he's been really good lately due to the whole pregnancy thing. I think the fact that I've had some pg problems and had to call him at work to tell him have made things really hit home that I'm probably calling about something important.
A couple times he's actually answered the phone by asking (jokingly) if my water broke.
Thanks for the support Friends. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just being overly hormonal and cranky, so it's good to know that you'd all be irritated as well. I completely understand that sometimes at work he can't answer the phone, but especially under the circumstances you think he could call back/answer quick and say "can't talk long, everything okay?"....but no.
He finally called me back today after about a voicemail and 4 calls in a 4 hour period. I was just getting ready to leave a pissy voicemail (haha!) when he answered. I was like "glad to know you're flippin' alive!"
As a result of his ignoring me today, I have decided not to make delicious strogonoff for dinner and whip a T.V. dinner on him instead.
Super irritating! I used to give DH a hard time about that last year too. I would call him at random times through out the day just to test him. haha!
