Re: It's Monday!
Our baby girl!!
we had a great time at DHs groups anniversary party and we raised a lot of money for their charity too. It was funny though because DH went to some other functions this summer, everyone knew I was pregnant and we decided not to have me travel with him this summer. It caused a bit of a ruckus....well after they saw me on saturday night the women who had an issue with me not coming with him (very important part of this group is the members wives being involved and supportive) all has been forgiven and I had people coming up to me all night wishing me luck and telling me how much they enjoyed DHs company this summer. Hopefully this little faux pas has been smoothed over and DH can get back in the groove of helping more with the state level.
After the party we went to the Claddagh to hear Extra Stout, and DH of course was in his kilt. We slept in on Sunday then went to breakfast and I spent the day with my mom and sister while DH worked on some yard stuff at our house before the baby comes and the weather got too funky to do it.
All in all we had a great weekend.
Saturday I worked out in the morning, then got to work on our kitchen curtains finally. Did a little shopping and got home at 8, didn't have dinner yet. Talked to DH to see what he was up to, and then talked again at 9, still no dinner plans. I just ate at home, I was pissed that DH and his friend waited another hour to hear back from another friend about the night's plans. Really? Don't leave the pg woman hanging about meals!
Sunday up early for Race for the Cure; which I didn't really do anything, but it was cool to see. Finished kitchen curtains, went to grocery store and visited my dad.
I babysat my niece and nephew all weekend while their parents were out of town. I had a lot of fun with them as always.
Last night we went to the Burger Bar for DH's birthday and my belated birthday dinner with his family. For me it did not live up to the hype. I told DH I would give it a second chance. I love a good hamburger so I was very disappointed
