Tattoo placement poll. Fuddy Duddies are required answer too!
I can't do a clicky poll on my phone, sorry! If someone was holding a gun to your head and said you have to pick one of these places to get a tattoo, which one would you pick? Right shoulder blade, center back right under your bra line, or your left wrist? Why would you pick that place? No where is not an acceptable answer, he's holding a gun to your head people!
Re: Tattoo placement poll. Fuddy Duddies are required answer too!
Center of back. Easily hidable since I'm a fuddy duddy tattoo hater.
BIL has a tattoo on his forearm. He now has to wear LS shirts to work every day. I'm sure he's thinking that was a bad decision now.
Wow. Way to really think the decision all the way though. I like it!
I agree that certain tattoos on the left wrist are easily hidden. I can wear a watch and cover mine just fine. I don't think it prevents me from having a professional job. My company allows visible tattoos that aren't distracting and if that changed I would just wear a watch.
Depends on what the tattoo was. I like the wrist idea in that I think I would like to see my tattoo.. but only if it was super tiny.. like, able to be covered by my ever-present hair ties.
Though I would not get one there if my education/aspirations were at all in line with a profession or career where I would HAVE to hide it.
Center of my back for sure.
And unless your tatoo is REALLY small on the wrist, I'm sorry, but it isn't that easily covered up. My MOH had one, and even though it was very pretty and small and under her watch line, you could see it almost all the time anyway. Unless you're wearing a cuff, you can't guarantee it isn't seen. She got tired of people commenting on it and felt it did interfere with her professionalism, so she's having it lasered off. Not only is the initial wrist tattoo painful, I can't imagine 10 sessions with a laser on your wrist.
Speaking of funny, unobtrusive tattoos, one of my exes got a drunk tattoo in college (I didn't know him at the time) and it's a line. Just a line. Across his bicep. About 2 inches long. He has no idea why he picked that. I made up a story for him that since he's a runner, it's a finish line, but he thinks it was probably more like an unfinished part of a larger tattoo. I can't imagine having something permanent on my body that I had no idea what I was thinking when I got it.
Wrist, it can easily be hidden and I dislike the other two options.
