microfiber cleaning

What do you use for a good cleaning? I've used the wipe trick on the little marks, but our couch needs a good scrub down.

Re: microfiber cleaning

  • Windex for spots...I know it sounds so funny, but the salesman who sold us our recliner told us about it.  Someone spilled something on it so we tried it and it totally worked.

  • Wow, never would have thought of that one. Thanks.

  • We're in the same boat. Our couch looks scary. We had it cleaned once by an apholostry cleaner, but it seems to have lost a lot of its plushness.

I'm going to try the windex thing too! That's exciting if it works.

I think we're just in the market for a new couch. I wouldn't buy microfiber again because I don't think it with stands the test of children.

  • I am just thinking Big Fat Greek Wedding - put windex on it

We had a microfiber couch and got rid of it. Was not a fan of how hard it was to clean and absorbed all moisture on hot days (tmi and ewww). I replaced it with a wood couch with cushions that I can easily wash.
