NCR: Sick Husbands (vent)
I love my husband dearly, but when he is sick...ugh! Both DH and LA have some kind of virus. Not sure if it is just sinus infections or the flu, but let me tell you, the LITTLE one is handling it soooooooooooo much better than the BIG one. Less whining, less pitiful, less bothersome.
Please tell me I am not the only one whose husband is NOT a good patient.

Re: NCR: Sick Husbands (vent)
My husband is the worst patient of all time. You'd swear he's dying with even the most common cold. Luckily he gets sick like once every 3 years, but when he does...
Stand up for something you believe in.
Ahhh, the man cold. I send my condolences.....
You aren't the only one.
Ditto this. The worst is when he anticipates a cold. When he just *thinks* he's getting sick, he becomes a huge baby. I can understand wanting to milk it a little if you are ACTUALLY sick, but when he pulls this I just
.
Ugh, there should be a special farm where men are shipped when they're ill.
Even if I'm sick enough to call off from work, I don't lay around 24/7 and I get up to refill my glass of water. DH sees this as meaning I'm not that sick because I'm not whining.
Even now he thinks that being pregnant can't be that bad because I don't complain constantly. What good would it do to complain?
Dh refuses medicine when he is sick. so annoying, he sits there and complains, but won't do anything about it! I threaten that I will pill him like I do with cats at work. Actually, cats take meds better than DH!
you are not alone! Feel better, LA!
No, you're not. One time my DH came back from the doctor's and said "well, it's not fatal."
It was a cold.
My H thinks no one in the history of time has ever been as sick as him. That I can't be as affected as him. Because I'm still up and doing things........ DUH (We have a two year old.)
It blows my mind. We should invest more in chemical warfare. You could give the opposing army the common cold and every man would be down! LOL :P
Y'all are cracking me up! I soooo used the SHDS with DH this morning--he did not find it as funny as me--his loss! I'm sure the extra exertion of having to take LA to the pulmo today is going to cause him to be "that much closer" to his deathbed.
Thanks for commiserating and making me laugh! I had to go to work today just to escape the misery!
