And the extra perk - after your first order, you get a coupon code for free delivery for the next 60 days with $100 purchases - easy to do nearly every week for us.
I saved at least an hour at the store, if not longer. I order a ton of food and did a lot of cooking this weekend, including three new recipes that all went over well! It may have helped reduced impulse buying - we'll never know ![]()
I wasn't home for delivery, but DH said it was smooth and fast and easy. He did not like unpacking since he really had no clue where most stuff went - lol!
only cons - don't offer some items that i know are in the store because i do buy them, and some of the quantity amounts aren't what i want, ie - tilapia was sold in 3/4lb weights, which i knew would be 2 fillets, and i wanted 3, but if i chose 2 quantities i'd get 4 which we don't need...so dh and i took advantage and had a non-child friendly preparation of it and ava got meatsauce and pasta leftovers - everyone was still happy. i wasn't thrilled with the bananas - they were bruised - they are giving me a credit.
Re: Peapod delivery/experience was good!
good to know.
I am not sure I could even think about taking advantage of Peapod. One I am a hopeless control freak and two no one is home for delivery.
