Do you tip for a massage?
I'm thinking of treating myself this week (though probably at Massage Envy, so not *too* big of a treat). I honestly can't remember if I've tipped in the past. WWDCND?
And if you've ever been to a Massage Envy, if you pay by cc, can you add the tip on to that?
Thanks!
Re: Do you tip for a massage?
Ditto. Same tipping ettiquette as getting a hair cut.
I went to the ME in Leesburg and the sign suggested $20+, I believe.
Enjoy!
I agree - yes I tip. I'm a member so I just get billed monthly, so I don't know if you can add to the credit card or not. I'd take cash just in case. I think they recommend $20-$25 for a 60-minute massage. (since the massage is worth more than the discounted rate)
I have no idea if there are perks or not, but if they ask if you were referred by anybody and you don't already have a name to give them, please feel free to give them mine. Enjoy!
i have only once not tipped my masseuse when i go to an establishment (i have a masseuse who occasionally comes to my house and i just pay her the fee - she works for herself).
i usually tip 15% unless it was a phenomenal massage. the person i see at massage envy is not only an excellent masseuse, she is very knowledgeable about healing and health and i often get advice from her...i feel that goes above and beyond.
the one time i didn't tip, the massage was terrible and i complained about it.
yes, you can tip on cc at massage envy
