Re: s/o holiday gifts, non-clicky poll
1. When planning to buy gifts, do you consult the people you're going to buy for to see what they want?
Sometimes I'll ask my parents if I have no idea what they want.
2. Do you have a hard time buying for your H/W's family?
Always. His dad and brothers are very specific in their interests, which can actually make it harder.
3. Have you ever had a person tell you that they didn't like your gift?
Never has anyone actually said they didn't like it, but I've had a feeling here and there that they didn't...
4. Have you ever 'heard' that the gift you got some one wasn't good enough?
Fortunately, no.
5. What is your go to gift for people that are hard to buy for?
Gift card to their favorite store. Impersonal? Yes. But it's nearly always well-received.
1. When planning to buy gifts, do you consult the people you're going to buy for to see what they want?
Only H's side. They live on the other side of the country, so it's harder to figure out what they want/need.
2. Do you have a hard time buying for your H/W's family?
Not really, because they are usually pretty specific with what they want/need (see #1)
3. Have you ever had a person tell you that they didn't like your gift?
No
4. Have you ever 'heard' that the gift you got some one wasn't good enough?
No
5. What is your go to gift for people that are hard to buy for?
Lotion from Bath and Body or Huckleberry chocolates from Made in WA.
