Cleaning an oven that is not self cleaning...help
Can I just turn it on REALLY hot for a few hours (2-3)? Isn't that what self cleaning is? What's really hot....475?
Should I put anything inside: baking soda or vinegar or something like that? Am I going at this all wrong?
This is a relatively new oven. I can NOT believe that it isn't self cleaning.
Any recommendations? All information is appreciated.
TIA
Re: Cleaning an oven that is not self cleaning...help
All you need is a bucket of warm water & baking soda. Coat your oven with the baking soda & dip a sponge in your warm water to create a paste. It's WONDERFUL! It will take off any marks & sludge - just gotta put a little elbow-grease into it!
My oven is self cleaning but other than burning germs, I feel that it's not getting efficiently cleaned. There's no way around it, you have to scrub.
800 Degrees??? For real? I had NOOOO idea. I was hoping to avoid the elbow grease, but such is life.
Thanks!!
