Have we talked about this yet? I'm going to an actual costume party this year for the first time in a long time. Are any of you dressing up? Anyone have some good ideas? What have you been in past years?

    I love Halloween. I'm going to a costume party for work that should be really fun. I actually bought a Peacock custume from Target but had to return it because it fit weird.

    Idk yet if I'm going to a party, but Cori will probably be in a contest at Barktoberfest. My options are yoda for him and leia for me, superman for him and wonder woman for me, or Harry potter for him and hermione or moaning myrtle for me. All of those I would be able to use at a party for me too.

    We aren't going to a party this year but next year we might take Michael to the Not So Scary party and I might get butterfly wings for that. Just something simple.

    I was Sookie a couple of years ago... I could always reuse part of that outfit and get an orange wig for Arlene. lol

    I might make an owl costume for DD this year.  Either than or buy a Yo Gabba Gabba Foofa costume.

    This year, I just have a skeleton t-shirt with a lil baby skeleton over the belly.  DH has the same shirt, but with burgers and fries over the belly.  It's silly.  Not sure if we're doing a party, but we always have a little family gathering at our house on actual halloween, then my neices trick or treat.

    Last year, we had a party with friends at our house.  I was Tinkerbell and DH was Waldo.

    I won't be dressing up. I haven't dressed up since I worked at Sonic. We could dress up there and it was lots of fun! DS is going to be a pumpkin though!

    If I go to a party, I'll dress up! I don't have any ideas yet though. I'm going to dress up vdub though, as a sweet pea. I got her costume last week! I'll put her in it when we sit outside and hand out candy.

    I usually go out with a gf or DH and I go to a party. I have all of an old ladybug costume I made that fits again other than the wings.i lost them. I don't particularly care for wings though because they're hard to get around in. I have some stuff that I may just throw together for an Indiana Jones type costume.

    Best costume ever - Dog the bounty hunter and Beth. I'll see if I can PIP when we get home. Past costumes were Sarah Palin, progressive Flo (H was Dwight Schrute this year), Monica Lewinsky (guy friend in college dyed his hair grey, wore dress shirt, power red tie... and boxers with cigars on them lol), drunk Britney. This year I'm trying to get a group together for the Arrested Development cast. Edited for spelling.

    We did Dog and Beth several years ago and it was by far my favorite costumes we've ever done!

    We're taking James to Mickey's Not So Scary...this year and he'll be Peter Pan.

    I won't be dressing up after all...the only maternity costume options are nun and nurse it seems.

    My neighbor will be having her baby around that time so I haven't made any plans yet... I live for halloween costumes though. I've made some good ones...

    Last year I went as granite countertops (DH was a King Cobra 40oz)

    One year I was a toothbrush, my friend toothpaste and my bf was floss

    Few years ago I was a used car parts junkyard

    My ex and I built a spark plug costume one year that was pretty epic... it lit up and everything

    The list goes on :)

    We actually got invited to a party ans I am so excited!! This will actually be the first time DH and I have dressed up since we've been together! And given that DH started at "I am not dressing up," I am super proud of myself for getting him to agree to be Gru and I will be a minion from Deapicable Me! So stoked. And I am sure I will buy a costume for Clancy that will only be seen on the internet. Haha

    I have done a lit of stuff, from a guillotine to grapes to a 4yr stretch of goth that wasn't really a big stretch since it was my angsty phase.

    Last year, when I was pregnant, I dressed up as a ref and painted my belly like a basketball. DH was Lebron James. The year before, when I wasn't pregnant, I dressed up like a 1950's prenant housewife and DH was an old school milkman.

    This year, I'm not sure we'll dress up. Baby Pancakes is gonna be a robot. The cutest robot ever!
