Stuff crafts with poly-fil...

or, what else?

In looking around the craft store todya I came across poly-fil. Is this  the only/ best material that can be used to stuff with?

Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things! Visit The Nest!Visit The Nest! We have four children; one left us too soon.

Re: Stuff crafts with poly-fil...

  • i like polyfil.. I think i found some 'organic' cotton stuffing for a toy i made for the kid of a slightly neurotic friend.. but it wasnt cheap & I have no idea what it was called.
  • I generally use Poly Fil and stock up like crazy when it goes on sale.

If I want a bit more heft to a project, I sometimes use old unraveled sweaters that aren't worthy of giving to good will. But that's more bumpy than I usually like.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I like poly-fil.  You could also use leftover yarn if you're stuffing something smaller, but it doesn't give the same squishy feel IMO.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball
