To do my thesis topic justice i would have had to do a lot of original research and process it in the context of existing research in several disciplines. It would be an excellent doctoral dissertation, but was just too much for a masters thesis. And yes, i could have scaled it back... but then it wouldn't really be contributing much to the field.
As such, i have a new thesis. Actually, i've switched to a field project. And i'm really excited about it. I've made some progress, but i have to wait for board approval from the nonprofit i'll be working with, so right now i'm mostly waiting.
