Hi everyone! I hope you have all had a wonderful rainy day.
I had my doctors appt today and she is still stumped! They are putting me on another medicine/antidepressant that i have to take every night before I go to bed and I have to go see the neurologist.
I asked her about the meds I am taking and it doesn't appear to be any of those and she doesn't think it is the weather. As for the cyst she said it is small and the neurologist will probably evaluate it more.
UGH! I'm in a yucky mood.

I'm sorry! That really sucks. I hope they find an answer for you soon.
This same exact thing happened to my friend in college, they never found an answer, but the migraines mysteriously cleared up on their own and they haven't come back since.
Would botox shots be a temporary relief for you?
I have never tried acupuncture or even thought about that.
They started 2 months ago and went from every so often to every day lasting for 5 hours at a time. I've been getting black spots in my vision and very nauseous. So far we have tried 3 different meds and after about 3 days they quit working. Plus I've been getting numbing pain in my legs and arms. The doctor seems worried that she can't figure it out... I may have to look into acupuncture though.
That is weird -- lots of change, fast, and w/o relief. The vision and nausea are "normal" (with migraines; look up "migraine aura" if you want to find out more), and i think numbness can be, too, but is yours both sides at a time? I'm sorry you're going through all this : (
Re: acupuncture, it's impressive how many people i know have found relief from it (for migraines and other issues). Totally worth a try. And if it makes you nervous/costs too much/whatever you could try reflexology (pressure points in feet), which helped me (didn't make them go away, but they were less frequent and less severe).
I hope the neurologist can help you find some answers (and they are good news!).
