We have had tv for about a month, but we weren't getting HD and he decided he simply couldn't live without it so he cancelled the old service and set up an appointment to get something else installed today. He asked if I would be home after he made the appointment. I told him I could be here for a couple of hours in the morning but since we're leaving tonight I also need to run around town and do about four different things. He assured me that it wouldnt be a problem. It's now 2pm and the installation people are still here. H called me to ask how it's going, I told him they still aren't finished, and he nonchalantly replied, "yeah, it's supposed to take about five hours". WTF. In what world does a couple hours in the morning equal five hours stretching into the afternoon? I now have no time to run half the errands I needed to. I am seriously pissed off.

    Not really. I needed to go across town to Alliance Francaise to get a receipt stamped and pick up my books before they close--which will je before H gets home from work. I'm already missing the first two weeks of class. This is just going to put me that much further behind.

    To add to my anger we have no food in the house because we're leaving tonight and I've already pitched the perishables. So before the tv installation guys left at 3:00 I had only had a handful of cheez-its all day. I was not a happy camper. Since then I've had a really lovely roast duck, orange, and rocket salad so I am now in a much better mood and no longer want to shank him.

    I would be super pissed as well.  Why do men have the need to always have things done righthisminute?  It's not like you couldn't have gotten the HD done after you returned!
