Eastern Shore
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there on the Eastern Shore. My husband and I have been in the Easton area together for just over a year and I am wanting to start volunteering or getting more involved somehow in the area. Any suggestions?

I live on Kent Island and unfortunately, I don't have any spare time to volunteer. But like PP said I know our church has some volunteer opportunities. And I am sure there are more opportunities for such things as shelters in Easton than there are on KI.
Sorry I'm no help, but I just wanted to say hi!
Also, what kind of work do you and your H do? My aunt is super social and may be able to point out some good ways to meet people for a younger couple.
And do you go to the Amish market for dinner on Friday nights? I get the impression that's one of the big weekly happenings. Of course my parents are 60 so take that as you will, but they also try to be super active bc they have my nephew who is 12.
