Hey, LO is asleep in our bed at the moment so I have some time to myself
today we have to go to the city to get E's passport for our trip, I think she has the worst ever passport photo! I also have to take some photos today because our camera is having some issues so we need to see if it's working correctly again and if not we're going to have to go pick up a new one before the vacation.
This evening my Mum is coming over for chinese take away
QOTD: Total Mummy's girl! She's one of my best friends over here, we hang out almost every week now that I'm not working. I think it may have something to do with the fact that my dad wasn't home much when I was a kid.
I am just at work, with only one class to go. Plus I just found out that my classes are all cancelled for the rest of the week because the students have to practice for the school concert on Friday. So besides coming to watch the concert for a few hours on Friday, I have the rest of the week off! Also Monday is a holiday here so I don't teach another class until next Tuesday.
QOTD: My mom and I get along great over the phone and have great weekly/biweekly chats but dad and I get along better in person. We are very similar in our personalities and could hang out forever with no issues. My mom and my sister are very similar so it had always been that she was more of a mommy's girl and I was more of a daddy's girl.
Morning all. I wish I had something exciting to say for today, but just a standard day here. Work and then home, and should take care of some stuff around the flat this evening. I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch, but she had to cancel.
QOTD: I would lean towards a Daddy's girl. We don't talk all the time or anything, but growing up he would have done anything to make me happy.

Good morning! It's just a normal Tuesday for me. FI and I are going to an antiques auction tonight to try to score a dining room table... that'll probably be the most exciting part of my day. Oh, and we are planning to eat at our favorite little whole-in-the-wall restaurant in London, so I'm excited for that!
QOTD: I would say mommy's girl. My dad is very very not affectionate. My mom used to be the same, but has gotten better about it over the years. She is coming to visit me in London for the first time in 2 weeks - we're both really excited!
Morning! I'm going over to my university today to have lunch with a friend and ask them what is up with my diploma (still don't have it). I also need to take one of the dogs to the vet because something has been weird with her eye. Actually, haven't checked it yet this morning. Hopefully it's cleared up on its own! --That's a negatory. Off to the vet it is.
QOTD: Mom's girl. She and I have very similar personalities which can lead to some confrontation when we are together for a long time (and she's about to be here for six weeks!) but in general we get along great. Lately we have been talking every day on skype. I love my dad too, but we don't talk as much. I'd say my sister is more of a daddy's girl and they have similar personalities too.
Good morning! Nothing too exciting for me today, just working on my research project.
QOTD: I am close with both my parents, but I'm definitely a daddy's girl :-) No doubt about that. And even though I am close with both of them, my mom and I certainly have our disagreements sometimes, but not really with my dad. My dad and I are really close, I think part of that is due to the fact that my mom worked really long hours when I was little and he did most of the schlepping to and from school, making dinner, driving to dance/swimming/whatever.
Morning! Normal day here. Long day at work then yoga tonight. I'm really tired today because H and I stayed up late into the night talking. Oops.
QOTD: Mommy's girl, for sure. My parents divorced when I was about 11 and my mom raised us after that.

Getting ready for work soon. I have the final session of the Landmark Forum tonight where we're allowed to invite friends and family to check out the awesomeness, basically. I'm really excited because yes, BF and my parents are coming, but I also invited my nanny who helped raise me (haven't seen her in almost a year now, I'm so glad we keep in touch), and some coworkers, and my boss. I apologized to him yesterday for playing a constant I'm right/you're wrong game and for how toxic our environment had become over the last couple months -- he was blown away, said that he didn't think it was that bad, and accepted my apology as if things made sense. So cool.
QOTD: Definitely Daddy's little girl. Finally close with my mom now. As a teenager, I would've done anything to fight with her. We've had a great relationship over the last ten years or so -- basically since I moved out, lol.
Morning! err afternoon!
I went for a nice run this morning. I so glad that I'm staying motivated to go twice a week.
Just finished cleaning the apartment and after I get M from school at 4pm, we'll be going to visit friends in the old town.
