As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Trying to take deep breaths.
I just need to vent for a moment.
We're suppose to close friday. We're still waiting to hear back from the state on approval for the downpayment assistance program. Our LO assured us last week it was underwriting there and that we'd hear by last Thursday. LAST NIGHT she assured us it will be reviewed by underwriting TODAY. Somehow I just don't see us getting the clear to close by friday.
We didn't entirely need the downpayment assistance but since its essentially a 0% loan that we only pay back if we move in the next four to five years it seemed silly not to use it and keep our emergency fund a little higher. This is the only thing holding up closing. Now I wish we hadn't even gone with it. Argh.

We always get cleared to close about 1 day before closing. Once it was about 2 hours before closing.
Don't worry until Thursday afternoon!
