Strange AW - I got a cold!
I know this is strange but I am so excited! I am on the final stage of my cold and there were no Dr visits or trips to the ER. The only trip I had to take was to CVS to get some Nyquil!
Given my health situation if I had a cold over the last two years, I would end up in the ER and inevitably stay in the hospital for a few days.
After my 6 month post transplant check up they took me off the anti-virals and antibiotics. It was a strange feeling knowing you were eventually going to get sick with something, but not knowing how your body would react. When I first came down with symptoms I was a little freaked out. But, it looks like my immune system is pretty close to "normal".... YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
