How do you get out of a bad mood?
I have no clue what's going on, but for no reason I've been in a really bad mood since yesterday.
I feel very short tempered and like I'm irritated with everyone.
I hate feeling like this! What do you do to get out of a bad mood?

sleep or eat. it comes down to the basics....if i'm not getting what i need, i get cranky!

Hummm, but I just ate a handful of pretzels and I went to bed at 9:30 last night.
I wonder if it's the weather that's making me cranky.

When I'm in a bad mood I try to focus on something that makes me happy. For me it's looking over wedding/honeymoon photos, walking my dog, planning out what restaurants I want to go to for Seattle Restaurant week, online shopping/browsing, and eating whatever treat/snack I've been craving.

This sounds delightful. I wish I could go home now.
For me it's taking a nap. I get cranky when I'm tired, even if I got enough sleep the night before.
If it's not possible to take a nap, I listen to music I can sing a long with. Something about singing helps me get out of the bad mood.
Otherwise, you could always punch someone in the face. I know it'd make me feel better. Too bad consequences stops me from actually doing it.

i feel super irritated since sunday. i don't know what my problem is. all i can think about is that i have vacation coming up so it makes me happy.
or do something that gives you joy or makes you happy. try to figure out what's bugging you.
i like to listen to happy music.
And add a chick flick or marathon of your fav show. Something DH wouldn't appreciate. I think you may have a fever coming on! You need to go home!
These things work for me: hiking alone, going somewhere interesting to take pictures, journaling (esp. if there is something on my mind), baking, watching an indulgent show/movie (bonus if paired with chocolate and/or wine), eating something healthy and crunchy (carrots, apples, or juiced vegetables), working on a project (something creative, or a small complete house project), window shopping, going to a coffee shop and people watching, reading a book (bonus if chai or coffee is involved), spend time with a friend, a good workout

My bad moods are from one of three things:
#1 Crazy person. Solution - get away from crazy person
#2 Cabin fever. Solution - exercise and get re-energized. Go somewhere new. Get out with friends and laugh.
#3 PMS. No solution... I just know I'll be in a bad mood, in pain, anemic, clumsy and zombielike for the first 2 days.
I hope you are suffering from #2... because #1 and #3 both come in cycles!
