If you have another child, will you go team green again? (Or did you, if you already have a second?) What is your reasoning for finding out or not finding out the second time around?

Re: Moms who went Team Green
I am pretty sure that we would go Team Green again!
The only time I was tempted the fist time was at the 20 week U/S. Otherwise, I really enjoyed not knowing the gender and waiting for the surprise at the end! Therefore, I am inclined to wait to be surprised on Baby #2's birthday.
My Blog Picture A Day Blog
We were team green with #1 and found out with this one. Our reasoning was based on a few different things.
-We had already had the surprise with the first (and loved it) so we wanted to experience the other side.
-Finding out we were pg was surprise enough
-While we had neutral gear and newborn things most of our additional clothes and supplies did turn into very boy things. We would need to re-purchase or trade some things for girl stuff.
-We thought it would be easier to explain to DS that he was getting a baby brother. We have friends who had a very big problem when their first child thought he was getting a choice. Everytime they would say that he was getting a brother OR a sister he thought it was his decision. When the baby was born he literally flipped out because it wasn't what he wanted. It took months for him to accept his brother. We didn't tell Charlie that he was getting a brother until we knew it was a brother. (Not that he understands that at all anyways and will probably still wig out on us)
-Finally, we are two and done so I really wanted to get any initial gender disappointment out of the way. I am really glad that I did because I am now really excited about my two boys.
You know, I think about this all the time. I was adamant about being Team Green the first time. I just never imagined it any other way. However, I'm giving thought to finding out the second time for a few reasons:
(1) Practical - do we get out the girl stuff again, etc.
(2) Preparing Jane - you'll have a little brother / sister. Their name will be....., etc.
(3) Bonding - I feel like I didn't really bond at all w/ Jane when she was inside and I'm wondering if my experience would be different if I knew the sex. Then again my experience could be different this time just in that I already have a kid and it's not all so surreal. It was very surreal to me the first time.

We were planning to be team green the second time, but once we found out it was twins we decided to find out. I was looking forward to being team green again cause I loved not knowing!! With Abby once we had her people went out and bought a ton of girl clothes, so we figured with the next one if it was a girl, great we could use her old stuff and if it was a boy people would get some cute boy clothes. Plus we had planned on reusing the nursery which was gender neutral.
Comparing the two experiences, I have to say I felt a lot more excitement when having Abby because there was so much suspense about what she was. With the twins I knew what they were and just wanted them out and to meet them. There was no real surprise!

Totally Team Green again! We loved being Team Green and we can't imagine doing it any other way. It was so much fun!

I know that it might just be because I am at a different place in my life, but I do feel like I am bonding more with this baby pre birth. It doesn't really make sense, but that's the way it feels. I talk to him a lot more.
We're going to be Team Green again. It was so much fun to keep everything a mystery--the sex, the name(s), etc. I loved how everyone we talked to/met would make a guess.
My labor was super fast, so we didn't have time to really think "wow! we're going to finally find out!" during the labor process, but there is a video clip of me walking into the hospital and we stopped for a minute and said, "It's going to be a Nora or a [boy's name that shall remain a surprise]." F-U-N!
As someone else said, everyone went out and bought her cute clothes and girly stuff after she was born anyway. And we were fortunate enough to receive all of the practical stuff--most of which we will be able to use again, as it's all gender neutral--at our showers, instead of a ton of clothes.
My SIL was Team Green for #1 and found out for #2, for the same reasons many of you have mentioned. I let the idea of finding out slip into my mind a few times, but DH is completely adamant about us not finding out again, so I let it go right away.

We really wanted the surprise with #1 (and also to have all gender neutral stuff for the next baby as well as getting practical shower items, which we did.) But it was HARD not finding out at the 20 week u/s. We were both so tempted.
So we've talked about it regarding any future pregnancies, and while I would really love to experience something different by knowing (the bonding, the ease of knowing what to expect), DH is adamant that we do not find out. So as for now, it looks like we will not find out-- which I'm fine with, I loved the "it's a girl" moment and can't wait for that again.
If something changes and we decide to find out, I think only WE would know. We wouldn't tell anyone else the gender-- in fact, I doubt we'd even tell them that we elected to find out. But, that's unlikely as I'm 95% sure we'll be Team Green again.
In the beginning of the pregnancy with Marshall both Sam and I were on board for Team Green. Even at the a/s I wasn't really tempted to find out what we were having. I remember going shopping with Sam about a month before my due date and we were picking up the last few things we needed (some onesies and stuff) and Sam really wished that we knew what we were having so that we could get "colored" stuff easier! From then on out he was very anxious to know if it was a boy or a girl. But, I LOVED that moment in the delivery room when I finally found out it was a boy! Funny story about that, all the nurses and Dr. forgot that we didn't know what it was, so they didn't do a big announcement! I had to ask Sam what it was...he was busy just staring at our new baby and hadn't really said anything yet!
So this time around I let Sam choose if we found out or not.
I'm not sure what we would do if we had another pregnancy!
I believe we're going to go Team Green again. I loved not knowing with Abbie. At first, I thought it would drive me crazy not knowing, but I had no problems. Everyone else was going crazy, while DH and I were excited to find out when the baby was born. The surprise when she was born was amazing. We had names picked out for either boy or girl and I loved hearing the Dr say, "It's a girl!" then DH whispered in my ear (as we both were crying) "Abbigail Lynn is here".
We decided that we're pretty sure we're not going to find out again, just to keep that element of surprise for us.
