Ok not really but I totally wanted too!!!! Just got off the phone with the tri-care dental people. They say I wasn't covered until X date because they didn't recieve the form until Y date so I needed to call my previous dental insurance provider. By the way, I know what day we submitted the form and it was well before that date but whateves!!!
So I called previous insurance provider said well you got married on the 9th so we canceled you on the 1st of the following month. My response "I didn't fill out the paper work until well after the 1st of the following month." I guess it goes back to the first of the month and then she got really nasty with me and said well we shouldn't have canceled you to being with since you waited so long to fill out the paperwork. The woman said something not being able to understand or comprehend what she was saying and perhaps I should "read better." Seriously she told me to "read better."
Arg so now I am stuck with a dental bill which I assumed I was doubled covered and now I find out I was not by either. I guess dumb me for not "reading better!"
I am however mad that I let that woman get to me!!!
Sorry!
End VENT!
Re: Tossed phone out of the window
I'm sorry! That stinks.
Can I add one?
E started school Sept 12th with the understanding that his GI Bill stuff was being processed. He called last week and they said oh your program isn't approved. We got the official letter yesterday. One would think the school would or should know if their programs are approved if they are allowing students to use their GI money there. I think its just because the program was revamped and they haven't approved the new program yet but still. I'm freaking the F*** out because I don't know how we are going to pay for this if the GI Bill doesn't come through.
E said he and the school are figuring it out but I can't help but worry still.
And mind you DH is as cool as a cucumber about all of this.
DH is going through something similar. Except, they told him that he should be approved when he talked to them on the phone, which gave him reason to apply, then went ahead and denied his claim anyway. It was frustrating. I am done worrying about it. But we are both really invested in getting this schooling done, so it is going to be done one way or another.
OP, I am sorry about your insurance crap. I hope that all you had to pay for was a cleaning.
And I hope that woman had her call recorded so she will get into trouble later. That was not acceptable.
Well it turns out that I have to pay for the cleaning. Annoyed by that but like I said that is not the point.
In good news, her superviser called me back and I was able to talk to him. He couldn't help me that much with the claim but he asked tons of questions about the person I talked to and what the exact convo was, so that may or may not mean anything but I still got to complain to a person in charge.
