What's the most you would pay for hair bows?

I recently started making bows.  I was looking for inspiration on some etsy sites a few days ago, and was blown away by how much some people are charging for them.  I'm talking 9,10, 12, up to 18 dollars for some of the bigger ones.  I'm just curious as to what would most people actually pay for a hair bow, assuming you don't make it yourself?

Re: What's the most you would pay for hair bows?

  • Let me preface, as crafty as I am, I HATE making bows...so sometimes any price is worth it :)

Ok, all joking aside (except it is not a joke that I hate making bows), I think that it really depends on how intricate it is.  For a basic bow, I pay around $2.00 or so each on etsy.  If it is bigger and has multiple ribbons, around $5.00.

I just went to my etsy history and here are some recent purchases:

Six 2.5" pinwheel bows = $10.00 (free shipping)

Six 4" boutique bows=$12 (free shipping)

Two 3" patriotic bows = $3.00 (free shipping)

4" two color boutique bow = $3.99+$.99 shipping

4" three color Halloween bow = $4.85+$2.00 shipping

    Hope that helps :)
