Finished : I made a quick hat for my nephew, but I suck at pictures, and I mailed it off without taking any
Hopefully there are pictures of him in it, and I will post those! Also, I made 2 baby blankets that I haven't taken pics of either. I hope to take pics of those before I pass them along to the respective mommy-to-be's.
Up Next: I just started on the sweater/t-shirt kit I got in the mail last week. I'm really excited to see it turn out!
Rants/Raves: I suck at pictures!!! I still haven't taken any pictures of my skirt that I made last spring. I've worn it several times, I just haven't gotten around to taking any pictures of it!
Randoms: My 1 week old nephew has a blog. I think its hilarious. Though, a great way to get pics/updates from 1200 miles away.

2. Sandwich 2 quilts, working on cutting squares for a quilt for DS2.
3. The first quilt will probably be late. My friend's baby is due at the end of October, but the yardage for the fabric won't be out until October.
4. I love showing my non-crafty friends my quilts. I'm not very good, but they think I am!

2. Up next/WIPs I reeeeally need to finish the lunch bag for my cousin's bday that was weeks ago, and get started on her brother's so I can mail them together.
3. CR rants/raves/etc. I have been dying to make/ purchase stamps of my dog's paws (to 'sign' xmas cards and such) any ideas????

NRC news/updates/rants/raves/whatever-you-feel-like-sayin! already feeling like I will be unable to do all my handmade gifts I have been planning... another person left my practice, so I will have even more hours @ work. I really like having the money, especially since a month ago I had only 2-3 shifts a week, but I will never have enough time! =(
On a happy note, I spent yesterday evening with my 2yo cousin who thinks she's 12. OMG that kid is adorable! her obsession with putting things in her "pock"s is hilarious! I love that age!
1. Finished (feel free to PIP)! Not much. A few crafty things for DD -- a nifty fine-motor building box thing, where she uses tongs to put colored pasta into the house/box through different windows. Also dyed some rice when I was doing the pasta, but I'm not sure what that will become.
2. Up next/WIPs: Nearly finished knitting my very first garment for me (Shalom). Should finish that tonight.
3. CR rants/raves/etc.: I need a source for cheap balloons (dollar store?). I really want to do a balloon wreath but I haven't found any at a good price yet.
4. NRC news/updates/rants/raves/whatever-you-feel-like: Good day today, despite it raining pretty much ALL day. Hopefully that means a good week ahead.The last things I've finished were a bunch of cloth napkins for Gabe's lunchbox- LOL! So not picture worthy- just flannel and quilting cotton sewn right sides together, flipped, and top-stitched.
I have Halloween decor and Gwen's birthday dress in motion. Was planning on tying one of them up today- but, she decided today was not suitable for a nap. If she crashes early enough, I may have time to have some fun tonight (if my brain isn't too fried by then).
I just got a bunch of new interlock knits, brushed french terry, and sweatshirt material in for winter tops for the kids, leggings for the girl- won't be able to touch those for a few weeks, though. I was so boring at Joann's coupon commotion thing- walked out with a $12 receipt- LOL! Zippers and 3 skeins of the newish RH? Washable Ewe yarn in a pretty green.
Freaking that my babiest baby is 2 next week, still head over heels after 6 years the day after her birthday, excited about Halloween with a 4yo who actually really "gets it" this year, looking forward to the holidays almost 85lbs lighter than I was last year. Cannot believe it's almost October. 2011 is whooshing by.
1. Finished (feel free to PIP)! I showed you guys my orange test knit and I just finished a slouchy cabled hat this weekend, but haven't taken any pictures of it yet. It's this one, but tweedy.
2. Up next/WIPs My queue is waaay too long at this point, I won't bother. However, I am currently working on a pretty pink pair of socks and a henley sweater with a honeycomb cable on it. After that test knit, I wanted to do some selfish knitting.
3. CR rants/raves/etc. It seems like every year, my Christmas knit list gets shorter, but bigger, as in each project gets larger. "Oh you knit me a sweater last year, can I have a blanket this year?" and I love them, so I sigh and say okay. I am going to be very, very busy this year.
4. NRC news/updates/rants/raves/whatever-you-feel-like-sayin! MIL is coming to visit in about 3 weeks. This is the first time anyone has stayed with us since ever, with the exception of DH's groomsman who passed out at our place after the rehearsal dinner. This has me stressing about making the apartment look more like a grown-up home
BUT DH agrees that the downstairs could use some work and since we had a very good couple of months finance-wise, this girl might be getting a new dining table!

With Peyton coming 2 weeks early I got nothing done in the crafting world.
I do need to finish up some thank you cards (just need to glue the front on), finish up my pregnancy scrapbook and start on her scrapbook.

1. I'm working on some decorations for a wedding shower that is Sat. I've decided that I love doing it, but for the time that I put in, nobody will appreciate the work

2. Newborn Turkey hat. I am unsure on the size... it seems pretty small, so I have to dig out one of DD's old hospital hats to see if it will work... I have made about 5 of the basic hat part (I'm a little obsessive) and still need to add the turkey pieces. I also want to make one for DD#1 and DD#2 who are 3 and almost 2. I'm due Nov 17th and think that it will make cute thanksgiving pics
3. Christmas photo books (I have a deadline as I bought a Groupon deal and need to use it)! I'm making a family tree book of my mom's side of the family. I decided that If I was going to make it for myself that I would make one for my brother and cousins (only 2
. I am also going to give one to my Grandma and my Aunt and Mom. It has ended up being so fun to hear the stories, but it is really time consuming!
4. DD#2's big girl quilt. I have had all of the supplies for about 3 months, I just have to get it rolling! I feel like I always have something else that needs to be done 1st! I want it done before this baby comes!

Finished : Just gave a co-worker a little knit hat for his new daughter. Also, finished a couple tote bags for some craft shows coming up.
Up Next:Hopefully finishing knitting my cousin's son's sweater. And then starting on the next baby sweater (I've had several friends & family members start their families this past year!)
Rants/Raves:I forgot how to PIP or I would totally AW all these projects described above. It's been forever since I've posted on the boards and I think I need Nest101 again! Also, I feel like such a slacker if I don't come home and work on a project every night since my to-do list is enormous right now. But I get home from work and just can't find the motivation!
Randoms: My H and I just celebrated our one year anniversary (a weekend early) with a weekend package that included passes to this outdoor adventure park (think zip-lining across ski slopes & obstacle courses like 20ft up in the trees) and I am so sore I could barely teach (dance) tonight. Talk about out of shape!

I made 3 wreaths, fall, Halloween, and winter. I will edit and PIP when I get home!
I also made my first garment. I learned a lot and it looks pretty decent. It's for a costume so my mistakes don't matter so much and I liked the pattern/fit so much I am going to make another one in a nicer fabric for work.

More wreaths! I don't know why, when I start one thing it spirals and I do a ridiculous amount of them. This one will have pink and purple tulle and boas. I'm thinking of putting a mirror behind it, but I'm not sure. When I'm finished, I'll PIP and ask what you all think!

Rant - Why must Halloween be so far away and holidays so close together? I want to decorate already, but I am also already depressed that it will only be up a couple weeks before I have to pull everything down and change to Thanksgiving.

Rant/etc - I came home the other day and DH had decided to be so sweet and clean his game room, but that meant he moved all my craft things! (I've taken over part of his room despite having my own since he spends so much time in there I wanted to see him more while we are at home..hehe)
Rave - I love my job! I work in a cubicle and only need about half the space I'm given, so the other half is currently covered in craft supplies that I can work on durring breaks/lunch!

I love the new Muppets CD. I have listened to it at least 20 times in the past week.

Finished: Just came home from a craft weekend away with a few friends. I made towel bibs, a Snuggie, a fleece hat and two pairs of pants for my son, a camera lens cap pouch, slippers and a purse. Also I did some more photo editing and digital scrapbooking in Photoshop.
Up Next: Not sure. I need to get my craft area organized in the worst way.
Rants/Raves: I never take pics of my finished projects and really should start.
Random: I got nothing.
2. Up next/WIPs -- I have fabric to make LO a two-sided fleece blanket. I'm hoping to have enough leftover fleece to make a diaper cover from each fabric.
3. CR rants/raves/etc. -- My sewing stuff is making its way to the basement. It's not the most ideal place to set up shop, but my craft room is now our gorgeous nursery and I don't really like seeing my messy sewing table in my living room.
4. NRC news/updates/rants/raves/whatever-you-feel-like-sayin! DH and I spent the weekend working on my MEGA-To-Do list. It's sweet how helpful he's being. Everyone says that I'm nesting, but I'm not cleaning because I have the urge to. I'm cleaning because we'll likely have company after the baby gets here. I do, however, have the urge to paint every surface in my house. In fact, I'm picking out paint for our bedroom today. bahaha!

2. Up next/WIPs: My WIP is a small knit blanket for the babe...
It's birght blue, green, some yellow, and white. I'll make sure to PIP when it's done (about 3-4 inches left to knit and it's done!). As for up next... I have 10 ornaments to knit & adorn (I posted the pattern yesterday and figured out when I'm "topping" them with) and then I want to do a few mommy necklaces with the metal stamping kit I just ordered :P
3. CR rants/raves/etc. Not much - I'm new here, so I guess I'm raving about the crafts board? lol I'm looking for a new "niche"

4. NCR news/updates/rants/raves/whatever-you-feel-like-sayin! Well, NCR, I'm irritated that the u/s techs can't tell [me] anything during my a/s and that I have to wait another week to see my OB to find out whether everything is growing ok. They wouldn't even tell me how much he weighed.
I know it's to avoid any improper diagnosis', but it still sucks and makes me all anxious.

2. Working on DS and DN's Halloween costumes, a dining room chair set, and an arm chair. Next up: rocking chair, quilt for my Gma, Christmas projects
3. Rant: I love my friends. I really do. But I have a s*ton of projects to do (see above) and very little time, so when they call me and say "You'll never guess what I got at this yardsale!" I always cringe because it's followed up by "We should get together and refinish it!"
4. Update: DS's first birthday party is this weekend!
