My prescription is finally being refilled, and I plan on asking the pharmacist for the okay to take 3 pills today (and waiting another 7 days until everything is safe for unprotected

), but I was wondering how long others have gone. AND how nauseous 3 pills in 1 day made you.

3 pills?! That'll make your uterus fall out!
Not really... but, dumping a heavy dose of hormones into your system can't be good. I'm sure it depends on the brand/dosage/type of pill you are taking. I don't think you should make decisions on what others have done. I've never missed a pill for a full 24 hours, so did not ever take more than 1. However, I tried a pill that was higher in something (I think estrogen) and it made me feel horrible. I had been on low-dose bc. Because of that barfy experience, I would be wary of increased hormone levels.

I went straight to depo. I knew, even back then, that I couldn't be trusted to remember to take a pill every day.
This was me too. It wasn't bad enough to stop me from doing it again, but I would never take three.
