Help me decide on a cricut

Would you rather get the Imagine or the Expression 2 and why? I can't decide what to get. I don't have any other machines or Sizzix, I would be using it for crafts and girl scouts, invitations etc.

Thanks

Re: Help me decide on a cricut

  • I hear the Imagine has had a lot of issues.  If you want the print and cut feature a Silhouette will work (plus it's a better machine).  There's quite a few other machines on the market.  I would check some of those out as well before making a decision.  I have an Expression and I ended up buying a SIlhouette and use that 100% of the time now because for me it's a better machine.

  • I'd definately look into other machines besides ProvoCraft.  They are far superior to the Cricut.  Silhouette gets a lot of great reviews and they do have a new larger machine coming out called the Cameo.  Other brands are a bit more expensive, but cut really well without binding you to use ONLY their software/cartridges (although Cameo is questionable about the use of 3rd party software).  I've preordered the Klic-n-Kut Zing with birthday money and I can't wait to get it.

Contrary to what ProvoCraft wants you to believe, there are other (BETTER) options out there!

Also, check out the FAQ for some more info.
